Once Alex was done with the Water root tests, he didn't perform any more tests for the next 3 or so months. He used that time to not only let his body return to normal, but also to measure his baseline once more to make sure that all the tests hadn't affected it at all.
In the meantime, he took in all the information from his many tests over the past 2 years and gained a general idea of how one's cultivation speed changed based on the degree of their spirit root quality.
What had surprised Alex the most from the tests were not the results of any of the tests at all, but rather his own baseline. The mere fact that only one of those many tests managed to even gain half as much as his baseline average was shocking to him.
He knew that his Unity was quite strong from the start, but this was beyond what he had expected.
