In the night, when Theodora was sitting alone in the lounge, Drayce approached her, as he knew she must have things to talk about.
Just as he sat, he asked, "What are you thinking, Grandma?"
Her eyes silently turned to look at him. "I was just thinking everything is back in its place and everyone's happy, so I should be at peace as well."
Drayce stared at her for a moment before he offered her a small nod and said, "But the worry about your own son still stays."
Theodora didn't hide it now. "He is my son, despite how old he is."
There was silence between them for a while before Theodora asked, "Did you meet your mother?"
"I did."
"How is she?"
"Going with whatever life offers her."
"Then she is still the same," Theodora chuckled. "Back then, I made her stay, and she accepted whatever I offered her. But while moving ahead, she forgot me as well. I wish I could see her once before I close my eyes."
