Aldric glanced over the entire office room quickly. Had it been a different time, a leisurely one, he would have given his brother some points for being able to blend in this fast, but unfortunately, his scanner being unable to pick up on any past disturbances, only made him furrow his brows.
He took a quick walk around the desk, and the chair, hoping for the scanner to pick up on at least any fragments of the time field unique to miss, given no other higher dimensional being except Hemmingson and miss had been here, but except his brother's familiar field pattern, nothing appeared on the screen.
'It's as if she never existed.'
An ominous feeling rose inside him.
He quickly took over the desktop screen near Hemmingson's seat. Since Miss was recorded as an employee, her name surely should be in the system. However, despite going through the entire section on the payroll sheet, he was unable to find even a single trace.
