"Hey Mr hero, what do you think you are doing? Do you perhaps enjoy being bullied by my dad and do you even know how to paint?" Catherine asked as she forcefully pulled out her hand from his hold.
"I am trying to relieve your dad of some of his burdens and I don't think your dad is bullying me...,"
"If this isn't called bullying the weak then what is it called?" Catherine asked fiercely.
"It is called testing his future son-in-law to see whether he is capable of taking care of his daughter," Jeff replied in a calm tone. It was after he said this that it dawned on her that maybe Jeff is right.
Maybe her father is really testing him? And why on earth didn't her mind goes to this?
"I also thought he was maltreating me because he thinks I am not good enough for you but after the discussion we had last night when he was drunk, I realised that your dad just loves you way too much. He wants the absolute best for you," Jeff said before he sat on the bare floor.
