Diana's P. O. V
The funeral ended smoothly, and West did not show up for it. Reporters of course used that to their advantage to cook up idiotic stories.
I was definitely pissed when I heard one reporter say that West probably had a terrible relationship with his mother and was probably the cause of her sudden death.
"Let's go." Cole said, ushering me away from the crowd, he was finally done with exchanging pleasantries with all his friends.
"Where's West?." I asked, mom and Makela knew that I wouldn't come home with them right away. I'd stop by West's place, pick up my clothes, stay a bit with him, then he'd probably drop me off at home.
"He's at home now I called in and confirmed it." He informed me, opening the door to the car for me, shielding me from the flashes of light.
The drive was dead silent, we both had nothing to say to each other. Annie was dead and buried, and West didn't bother to attend. No matter how much he hates his father, he let his mom down.
