Cheer practice became more and more tensed filled, more people came to watch us rehearse and I was getting cold feet.
"You okay D?." Shortcakes asked, after noticing I had flopped my routine twice now. "Yeah, am just still adjusting to everything." I said and grabbed a bottle of water.
My phone vibrated, I picked it up, ending practice for everyone, I had work to get to.
The shower hit me right, relieving me of my stress. I checked my chat with Michael if he responded to me, but nothing yet.
Me: Hey, today was a bust, things got really messy and I almost failed a project. But enough about me, how are you doing? Hope you aren't lagging behind at the academy😝😝😝. Text me when you're free alright?.
The door to the locker room slammed open and shut, Makela walked in holding her small sports bag.
"Hey, good job at practice today." I said with a friendly wave, she eyed me down and grabbed her face towel from her bag and wiped her neck.
