Diwu Zexuan's familiar face was sketched repeatedly in Meimei's sketchbook; fingers almost wore the pages thin.
"Miss, the little miss is awake and looking for her mother," the butler approached respectfully, quietly reminding as he observed Ye Mingmei's pale face.
"Awake?" Ye Mingmei's eyes flickered. She stood up from the sofa, picked up the sketchbook and photographs from the table, and walked towards the room.
Inside the room, Meimei sat on the bed, her small hands made into fists rubbing her eyes. Seeing Ye Mingmei enter, she leaped into her arms, sweetly calling, "Mommy."
"Did you sleep well?" Ye Mingmei looked at her daughter's delicate little face, using her fingers to tuck back the stray hairs on both sides of her cheeks.
"Yes!" Meimei snuggled in her arms, her face full of joy.
She saw her daddy yesterday, and that night she dreamed that daddy came back to pick her and mommy up!
Thinking of this, Meimei's little face was all smiles.
