When Sadie stepped onto the wooden deck of Nic's house, all eyes were back on her making her take a step back. "Why are you looking at me like that? Did I do something wrong?" Sadie cannot help but always ask if she did something wrong when someone or everyone is staring at her with an indescribable look on their faces.
For some reason, she had become paranoid and she couldn't help it.
Elijah who was staring at her as if he had not seen her last night frowned at her words. Why would she think that way? He asked himself.
"What's that?" It was Mason who spoke first, pointing his thumb finger in the direction of the dining table where the bags are.
Sadie looked at the bags and then at Mason. She answered, "I brought food from the restaurant," Everyone looked at her as if they had heard her wrong because ever since Sadie learned how to cook, she always cooks for them to the point that their getting together would not feel right if Sadie did not cook for them.
