A veil that the Lunirich Goddess of the Honey Moon, Meloriana, made that prevented anything from outside of the Mortal Realm from entering. It was an absolute authority that a God who ruled over the realm could impose at will.
And even that couldn't stop Rex from entering entirely.
It became more and more apparent why the Lunirich Gods wanted to kill him so badly.
'Divine Lord Kaiser didn't attack that mortal directly—and chose to attack his underlings… Why?' the uncanny werewolf wondered at this oddity. 'Someone like that mortal might have another deity backing him. Is that why? Or had the Divine Lord done it but failed?'
