Moving down along the path he had once moved up to reach the twenty eighth floor, it didn't take long for him to realize that the environment centered around the stairs leading downwards had shifted from bright points of light all around into one of eternal darkness with no sign of light no matter what direction he looked. Like entering a dead galaxy with no stars around, everything had died off and nothing could be gleamed from the space around the stairs down. All he could do was continue descending while trying to see if there was anything to note within that darkness.
Doubtful that the darkness was just a blank space with nothing in it, as he clearly felt a very distinct feeling of something moving within the darkness, it was just that whatever moved around within the darkness was too far away for his divine sense to pick up on and all he could do was sense the subtle movements of something massive in the distance as he continued descending down towards the twenty seventh floor.
