Ye Zhan rose from the sofa unhurriedly and walked out, heading toward the kitchen. "Have you eaten? Do you want to eat here?"
Tang Jinchen took a deep breath and followed Ye Zhan into the kitchen.
Seeing the vegetables already cut and set on the marble counter, not yet stir‑fried, his handsome brows couldn't help tightening again.
"Is Gu Zhitong at your place? If she is, go back and keep her company."
The man in front suddenly turned around, his gaze light as it landed on him.
Tang Jinchen glared at him, rolling up his sleeves as he brushed past him and walked to the sink to turn on the tap and wash his hands. "I'll help you fry these two dishes before I go back."
Ye Zhan arched a brow and stood to the side, watching Tang Jinchen deftly light the stove and start to cook.
When the smell of pork liver began to fill the kitchen, Tang Jinchen's voice sounded over the noise of stir‑frying. "Momo asked me to persuade you to go back to the Imperial City."
