Chapter 2 - 2. Small step towards Strength

After the memories of his previous life awakened, Su Yuxuan's daily routine quietly changed.

Not dramatically, not enough for anyone to become suspicious.

After all, he was only four years old.

If a child suddenly began training like a soldier every day, even the most oblivious villager would find it strange.

As someone who knew the future, Yuxuan understood something very well"The greatest danger to a reincarnator isn't a lack of talent."

"It's acting too differently."So, instead of openly exercising, he found ways to hide it within the games children naturally played.

...

"Yuxuan! Hurry up!"

Several children stood at the entrance of the village, waving excitedly.

Yuxuan grinned "I'm coming!"

The moment he finished speaking, he sprinted toward them.

To the villagers watching nearby, it looked like nothing more than an excited child rushing to meet his friends.

Only Yuxuan knew that with every sprint it strengthened his legs little by little.

His breathing became steadier.

His stamina slowly increased.

The distance wasn't far.

But after running dozens of times every day, The results gradually accumulated.

Small improvements eventually became significant, That was a lesson he had learned long ago on Blue Star.

...

One afternoon, while resting beneath a large tree, Yuxuan clapped his hands.

"I've thought of a new game!"

The children's eyes immediately lit up.

"A new game?"

"What is it?"

Yuxuan smiled mysteriously.

"It's called Tag."

"It's simple."

"One person is 'it.'"

"Everyone else has to run away."

"If you're caught, you become the next person who's 'it.'"

The children looked at one another.

Then their faces brightened.

"Sounds fun!"

"Let's play!"

"Yuxuan, you explain the rules again!"

Soon laughter echoed throughout Holy Spirit Village.

Children darted through the village paths, They ran around houses.

Leaped over small rocks.

Weaved between trees.

Even Yuxuan joined them enthusiastically.

To everyone else they were simply energetic children playing but to Yuxuan.

Every chase became endurance training.

Every sudden turn trained his agility.

Every burst of speed strengthened his explosive power.

He never pushed himself until exhaustion, children naturally stopped to rest after becoming tired.

So did he.

Everything remained perfectly normal.

...

Several days later.

"Catch me if you can!" Yuxuan laughed as he dashed toward the open fields.

Behind him, more than ten children chased after him with joyful shouts.

"Don't let him escape!"

"He's too fast!"

"You go around that side!"

The children unknowingly began working together, some blocked his path while others tried to cut him off.

Without realizing it, their games became increasingly active.

Even the adults noticed.

An elderly farmer chuckled while wiping the sweat from his forehead "Kids these days sure have plenty of energy."

Another villager laughed "I've never seen them run around this much before."

"It's a good thing."

"They're healthier than before."

No one suspected anything, instead the adults were happy.

Children should be energetic and that was only natural.

The river outside Holy Spirit Village also became one of Yuxuan's favorite places.

During the scorching afternoons, groups of children often gathered there.

Some skipped stones across the water.

Others caught tiny fish with woven baskets, many simply splashed one another until everyone was soaked.

Yuxuan naturally joined them "Last one in loses!" He shouted before jumping into the cool river.

Splash!

The other children immediately followed.

"Wait for us!"

"Yuxuan cheated!"

"Hahaha!"

The clear river quickly became filled with laughter, while the others splashed around aimlessly.

Yuxuan quietly swam from one side of the river to the other.

Again.

And again.

Not too many laps.

Not enough to stand out.

Just enough to strengthen his muscles and improve his breathing, whenever someone called him over to play

he immediately joined them, No one noticed his true purpose as to the villagers watching from afar...

The children were simply having fun.

One middle-aged hunter smiled "These little rascals spend more time outside than inside nowadays."

Old Jack, carrying a basket of vegetables, looked toward the river before smiling warmly.

"That's because Yuxuan keeps thinking of interesting games."

"The children like following him."

The hunter nodded in agreement.

"He's a good kid."

"Ever since he started organizing the children to play, the village has become much livelier."

Old Jack's smile widened with pride "That child has always been sensible."

Hidden among the laughing children, Yuxuan heard their conversation.

He smiled helplessly.

"I didn't expect that."

"My excuse for training actually encouraged everyone else to exercise too."

It wasn't his original intention, But seeing the children healthier and happier wasn't a bad outcome.

After all children should be running through fields

Laughing beside rivers, chasing one another beneath the warm sun.

Not sitting around all day.

As the afternoon breeze brushed across the river, Yuxuan floated quietly on the water.

His small body had already become noticeably stronger than it had been several months ago.

The changes were subtle almost impossible for adults to notice, But he could feel them clearly as his breathing was steadier.

His arms carried more strength and his legs no longer became sore after running.

Everything was progressing exactly as he had planned "There are still nearly two years before my martial soul awakens."

"I'm in no rush."

"A strong foundation is built one day at a time." Looking up at the endless blue sky, a faint smile appeared on his face.

He had no powerful cheat, no peerless cultivation technique.

No miraculous treasure.

For now.

All he had was time and he intended to make every single day count.

After playing for the day, the children immediately ran back to their home to rest and eat with their family.

Yuxuan ran back to old jack house and immediately dry himself with a cloth so he wont catch a cold.
