The girl came back after around 30 minutes carrying a plate full of food with drinks.
I began to eat my food slowly while seeing some people walked down from the upper floor, they by no mean have any different feature from my home world. I haven't seen a beastmen or elves here.
'Are they rare? or some political bullshit going on between them..' I sighed before continued to eat my food.
'Not my problem.. as if I would even care about them..' I shook my head as I noticed Lize walked down, before fading away as she waved at me.
'Meet at the gate... I'm waiting.' her voice resounded in my mind.
"Another flaw to be taken care of." I mumbled, as headache started to appeared as I remembered my 'to do list'. I silently eating while gazing around.
By the time I finished eating, I rise up my chair and saying goodbye to the counter girl, I then walked out toward the city gate before departing to the Forest of Nir.

The sun started to rise while few people could be seen walking or running around the street, there's no suffocating tension as everything was feels peaceful.
'This is odd... the Knight back then seems restless...'
I'll cast aside those thing for a moment and focusing on my goal, as I walking to the gate I could feel some stare directed to me.

I shook my head, I know that I subconsciously alerted because a new environment, a new hierarchy, a new place to life and a goal to be achieved.
My advantage by being aware made me wary of everything. while it was a good thing some of my wariness probably unnecessary.

By the time I noticed, I was few step away from the gate.
'Did I subconsciously hastened my pace while I was absentminded.' I sighed.
I look around and see the girl that was part of the guard from last night was looking at me leaving the city.
"Be careful..." she said, I nodded at her as I finally leaving the city.
A gentle breeze of wind hit me as I saw the vast meadow once again. Taking a deep breath, I opened my mouth.

"Behind you..." a familiar voice entered my ear, I give a 'let's go gesture' as I slowly walked back to the forest where I appeared first time.
By the time I entered the forest, I noticed something unnatural. it's feels odd for some reason, yet the forest is same as before.
"Oh.. you sense something amiss?. that's amazing and for your question, you're right. there's trace of battle here." Lize said behind me.
"Then the trace... no wait..." as I remembered something, I run searching my initial location. Ignoring what Lize said behind as I could heard a faint word.
"..ru....y....f.ri..ni..g.." I could probably guess what she's saying, but I decide to ignore it and looking at my initial location.

Hours by hours passed, the sun now is on my head. I finally arrived at my destination.
There's no trace of my 'experiments'. The trees, rocks and even my footstep didn't existed. I frowned as I doing a double checking.
"Disappeared? how does this even make sen-" I widened my eyes.
"That's it!.. I'm too fixated at rationalizing everything by my old logic since everything are similar except for some part.. I neglected the fact that there's different fundamental logic applied in this world..." I finally found some clues, I heard Lize voice.
"Sorry Reo... I have something in urgent right now.. I know you will be fine on your own.... I'm sorry... till next time."
"Yeah..." I mumbled unconsciously since I figuring piece by piece of my puzzle.
"Now... is it Auto Restorative? There's a chance that Godlike Girl fixed this place... what's it..." I clicked my tongue as I wandered aimlessly.
While wandering I made some symbol to find some clue along the way.

I then noticed something, it's like a soft wind breeze passing through my body. Not only that, it's barely noticeable.
I walked further for a few step and turn back, I widened my eyes.

I then tried to walked back, the sensation coming again for a moment. I look around and find my symbol.
"Illusion? or something else? if it illusion people would noticed already... then... layer... a layer...." as I mumbled, I noticed my surroundings feels strange.
"What's with these atmosphere?" I frowned, rather than calm peaceful forest, now it's feels unsettling.
'The feeling of being watched..' I proceed to walked to the thing that I assume as Illusion or some kind of layer.
Readjusting my breathing and my footwork, I walked slowly without any sounds.
'Something did gone wrong...' I clicked my tongue, as I finished my conclusion of those gaze, it wasn't curiosity. More like watching ants and wanting to trample it.
'Annoying... should I just make them disappeared-' I widened my eyes. My thought immediately became restless.
'I'm fully aware.. it's indeed my thoughts but... the instability seems worse than I thought... I need to find some solution... the quicker the better...' I lost my composure, this is really bad.
'Things became more complicated... as I slowly adapt those bullshit... another problem occured.. how long has it been..'
"Don't tell me... it's the side effects back then?" I grinded my teeth. I know nothing except for the soul-strengthening.

"No empathy... and such... guess this is more beneficial for me... perhaps.." I sighed, technically speaking. I did kill it however I felt 'nothing'.
No nauseous feeling, guilty, happiness or such. it's just empty. I then took off the dagger on my back.
'Can I?' I tilted my head as I inspect the dagger.
The Dagger has peculiar pattern with full fledged dark colour and silvery veins on ir, feels ominous by any mean. and it gave me a 'Disgusting' feeling.
'Disgust? what kind of filth it made of?' I frowned.
"What material they uses to made this?" I played with it for a while, before deciding what should I do with it.
"How about using Void to empower my physique..." I wondered as I started to guide half of the 'Void' of my reserves to flow into my hands that holding the dagger before let it entered every atomic composition on my hands.
I gritted my teeth as the pain became more painful each second passed without stopping.
"... Damn.. it..." My breath became ragged, fortunately the pain subsided slowly.
I inspect my hands, there's no change in term of appearance, no mutation or such. I started to take a deep breath before clenching my hands that hold the dagger.

Huge amount of white gaseous substance appeared from the Dagger as the Dagger slowly crumbled to dust before fading into nothing.
"Soul?" I mumbled as I narrowing my eyes.
"... Things seems getting... more interesting.." I mumbled, I might learn a lot of thing from this journey alone.
