"That's not a dog..."
"Yes, it is."
"No, it's definitely not a dog."
"Dog."
"No!"
I sighed as I watched Kor and Teresa argued back and forth in front of a towering fluff of fur. I ignored the two's bickering and gazed up at the creature who was peering down at me. This "dog" was over 9ft tall and was currently tilting its head at me in an adorable manner that caused my heart to ache.
Think of a monstrous-sized German Shepard with blue husky eyes and streaks of white in its fur. If you ignored the two large horns prodding out the top of its head as well as the large spikes on its back. You would definitely think it was a 9ft lovable dog of fluff that made my inner dog owner cry in glee. It gave off a low whine that sounded like a thunderous road and proceeded to move around Kor and Teresa, and place its body directly in front of me.
Rolling onto its side I watched as its tail slowly thumped against the ground. Creating small vibrations in the ground as it gazed at me with sparkling eyes. I moved forward and let my body fall into the fluffy underbelly of the large beast. Immediately my surroundings were engulfed in fur and I smiled happily as I began to rub its large belly. I could see through the fur, the dog's tail, begin to spin around in a whirlwind of excitement as I continued my petting assault.
"Atal?"
I moved the fur from my face and peered to my left to see Teresa peering at me with a wry smile. "What are you doing?" I broke my gaze away from her and pushed my face further into the softness of the dog's fur. "Nothing." I heard a sigh from Teresa followed by what I assumed was Kor chuckling to himself. "Are you enjoying yourself?" I nodded and slowly pulled myself away from the "soft heaven".
"So I assumed you called us here for a reason?" I turn my head back to Kor as he was currently nodding at Teresa's words. "Yes, that is correct." Kor moved a few feet away and gazed outside the hallway windows. "Something is currently messing with the balance of this world." I could hear his voice start to become grave, and I watched in horror as small black veins appeared on his neck and head. "Whatever it is...it's killing me." I frowned slightly as Kor turned back toward me with blood seeping from his nose and into his white beard. I could feel Teresa wrap her hand with mine and she gave me a soft squeeze. Kor smiled weakly and wiped the blood from his nose with his hand.
"I was hoping that you and Teresa.."
"I will." Kor smiled at my sudden answer and he gave a small nod. "Thank you...and please..be careful." Slowly Kor's figure vanished as well as the giant dog and color slowly started to return to my surroundings. I sighed and could feel Teresa appear within my body as she said, [I hope we can save him.] I smiled as I turn my head towards the group of zombies from before as they have begun to move again.
"We will...I promise you."
In a second there was a loud crack followed by everything snapping back into motion. I dashed forward and leaped into the air bringing both my feet into a dropkick at the closest zombie. Once my feet connected with the zombie's chest there was a resounding crack.
I could feel the bones underneath give way as the zombie flew back, like a cannonball, and smashed into the group of zombies. In a split second, I could see a sword fly past my face and slam into a zombie, causing its skull to cave in. I smiled and rammed my palm into another zombie's chin breaking its jaw. With Saeko behind me, we continued our assault against the undead the whole time I could see a smile plastered on her glossy lips. Bringing forth a different form of beauty that went well with the blood coating her cheeks her blue eyes gleaming like diamonds.
[She's so pretty!]
I grinned as I slammed my foot against the knee of a zombie, and snapped its head with a quick twist. (You are also beautiful.) I could hear a small giggle within my ears as Teresa replied, [I love you!] I felt my grin grow as I threw my elbow into the temple of a zombie girl causing her to go down like a puppet with its strings cut. Peering over at Saeko to see her finishing off a few zombies I turn my gaze away and said, "Kane."
{Yes, how may I help you?} I smiled at the mechanical voice within my ear and said, "How many points do I have?" There was a moment of silence before Kane spoke, {You currently have 30,000 points available. Would you like to use them?}
"Yes."
{Opening system shop...I have a recommendation.} I raised an eyebrow and said, "What is it?" Kane was silent before he said, {I recommend choosing one.} I watched as a blue screen appeared before my eyes with various objects.
