Renee Langdon hurried upstairs and quickly arrived at Quinn Leroy's room.
From a distance, she heard Chase's voice: "Quinn Leroy, do you think by keeping silent, I won't know what you're planning?"
Though she hadn't known Chase for long, through their interactions she felt he was a mild-mannered person because he always wore a smile, no matter who he faced.
Earlier, under the shadows, his expression appeared cold to her.
Yet his tone remained gentle.
At this moment, his expression was icy cold, with a threatening gaze and a tone devoid of any warmth.
It gave an inexplicable chill to the heart.
However, Quinn Leroy seemed unconcerned. He sat on the sofa, leaning against the backrest, arms crossed in front of him, feigned indifference: "What position do you have to question me? What's going on between Renee and me, and why should I report to you?"
Renee Langdon listened in confusion.
She stood still.
Earlier, she felt there was something off between Chase and Quinn Leroy.
