Tessa Caldwell noticed that Renee Langdon was absent-minded all day.
Yesterday's wedding photoshoot hadn't been completed, so they continued today. Renee also needed to be on camera, but she seemed dazed and was always a beat slower in everything she did.
During a break, Tessa asked her, "What's up with you?"
Renee smiled, "It's nothing."
"Nothing? Then why do you look like you've lost your soul?" Tessa didn't believe her and suddenly recalled that last night Chase had taken Renee out to dinner. With a teasing smile, she couldn't help but joke, "Did Chase confess to you and now you don't know what to do?"
Renee instinctively denied it, "No, what nonsense are you talking about? There's nothing between me and Chase."
"Nothing between you and Chase?" Tessa mimicked her tone, but with a highly suggestive expression.
Renee blushed and explained vehemently, "There's really nothing. We just had dinner like friends and then went to a bar."
