He looked into Tessa Caldwell's eyes deeply, then asked, "Why did you stab him?"
Facing Faye's sharp gaze, which seemed to see right through her, Tessa felt inexplicably guilty, then chuckled, "I was just joking."
"Why did you stab him?" Faye reiterated.
"Because he's so annoying, every time I see him, I can't help wanting to stab him," Tessa tried to joke about it, "Someone who can live to the extent that makes people want to stab them upon sight is really quite something, don't you think?"
Her playful attitude made Faye furrow his brows.
But he didn't ask anything more, just dragged Tessa downstairs to eat.
Just as they sat down at the dining table and were about to start eating, someone walked in, and Tessa looked up to see it was Xavier Warren.
Exuding a cold aura, he quickly walked over to Tessa with a hint of anger, questioning her, "Your cousin hasn't had the baby aborted, why didn't you tell me?"
