The Man:
"Uhh....," Oliver starts, his face pressed against the glass window. "What am I looking at?"
I turn and watch as Deadman jumps back, dodging Gentleman Ghost's swing swing. Landing on his feet, he jumps back and throws his fist forward, punching and knocking Gentleman Ghost back. From Oliver's perspective, he must be seeing a black-and-red jumpsuit with no body and a floating black domino mask without a head, fighting an invisible man wearing a suit, a cloak, and a top hat, swinging a glowing purple sword.
"Don't overthink it," I reply. "Let's just focus on getting the orichalcum."
Using the Seahorse's arms, I remove the last of the dirt, finally digging and picking up the orichalcum container.
"Careful," Oliver says. "Careful. Careful--"
"Queenie," I say, cutting Oliver off. "Shut up."
Oliver nods and closes his mouth.
Bringing the container closer and closer, I grab and pull a lever. Hearing the sound of grinds turning, I look down at one of the screens and see that the Seahorse's storage door is opening. About to put the container inside the storage bay, something hits the Seahorse, shaking it. Multiple screens flash red, and a dozen alarms scream at me.
"I'm just going to assume that wasn't you," Oliver says.
"Smart assumption," I reply.
"But was that them? Gentleman Ghost and that other guy?"
"No. It was someone else."
I check the sub's shield. The shield was at 100 percent, but after one attack, it dropped to 47 percent. Worse, the shield continues to fall.
"47 percent," the screen reads, "36 percent. 21 percent."
"What is hitting us?"
"Spectre."
I nudge my head and point toward Spectre. Throwing countless green fireballs at us, the Seahorse shakes with each attack. Oliver and I bounce up and down more than a thousand rubber balls.
"I thought you dealt with Spectre already," Oliver says.
"I did, but I guess he recovered faster than I expected. Oliver, I need you to drive again."
"Of course," Oliver replies with a nod.
"We'll hold off Gentleman Ghost and Spectre! You just need to take the container and bring it back to Atlantis."
Pushing a button, I stand up as my seat slides back and folds in on itself. The hatch beneath my feet opens again. I take a deep breath, cross my arms, and jump into the water again.
Entering the freezing ocean again, I look toward Spectre as he throws another fireball. Dodging to my left, I can still feel the intense heat of the fireball as it flies past me, the sizzling sound of the fire burning the water echoing in my ears. Kicking my feet, I swim like a fired torpedo.
As Spectre keeps shooting fireballs, I dive down and swim toward the ocean floor. Swimming along it, dodging the fireballs as they hit the ground and explode. Spectre shoots out his glowing green hands again, but no fireball appears. Instead, the ground in front of me erupts, and a large hand made of stone bursts out.
"Ahhh!"
Raising his hand, Spectre then slams it down. The large stone hand follows, throwing itself down toward me.
Deadman:
"Ahhh," I cry, stepping back. Looking down at my arm, I see a thin but bright purple cut on my arm. Hearing laughing, I look up at Gentleman Ghost.
"Hahaha," Jim laughs, tipping his top hat back while still holding his sword in front of him. "We ghosts may have no body, but that doesn't mean I cannot cut you down!"
Lunging forward, Gentleman Ghost swings his sword all over. I step back and dodge most of Gentleman Ghost's attack, but one of them still hits my leg. I scream as another purple cut appears on my leg.
Stepping back at hitting my leg, Gentleman Ghost sheathes his sword and turns his cane around. Looking at the skull as it opens its mouth, a massive purple fire shoots out.
About to hit and barbecue me, I throw the gemstone into the water. My body becomes intangible again, and I phase through the floor, dodging the flame.
Climbing up and behind Gentleman Ghost, I lunge forward and hit him with a straight punch, throwing him off his feet. As soon as Gentleman Ghost lands back on his feet, I grab his shoulder and push him down. Raising my leg, I knee Jim in his stomach before jumping and kicking him back.
"That is quite enough," Gentleman Ghost yells. Slamming his cane into the ground, Gentleman Ghost reaches into his cloak and pulls out ancient dual pistols. Firing them, the pistols scream as they throw bullets at me. I phase through the floor again, but when the bullets hit the floor, they explode and knock me back.
"Ahhh!"
Despite not having a body, I still land with a painful thud, dust kicking up in my face. Pushing myself up, I turn and look at Gentleman Ghost as he approaches me, dual pistols still in his hands.
"Rest in peace," Gentleman Ghost says, "For eternity!"
Looking around, I spot the gemstone nearby, still floating in the water. As Gentleman Ghost fires off more explosive rounds, I lunge for the gemstone.
Oliver Queen:
"Come on, come on, come on," I repeat, watching from inside the Seahorse as the mechanical arms slowly put the container inside the storage bay. Once inside, I yell as loud as I can.
"Seahorse! Computer! Whatever, close the door. Now!"
Hearing a beep, I look down at one of the screens and see the storage bay closing itself. After the door is closed, the arms quickly fold in on themselves before sinking back into the Seahorse. The moment it can, the Seahorse turns around and drives itself away.
"Uhhh, head back to Atlantis," I say.
A map appears on a separate screen, showing my location, Atlantis, and the expected route. As the Seahorse leaves the battlefield, I turn around and look. Even as I leave, I see nothing but more explosions and smoke shooting into the water.
"Sunglasses," I say, grinding my teeth. "Where the heck are you?"
As I keep looking, something else hits the Seahorse again, knocking it around.
"Oh, now what!"
Slamming my hands against the window and holding myself steady, I look and see a small, pitch-black submarine with two headlights and a bunch of red lights heading toward me. It takes me only a minute to recognize the submarine. After all, it looked a lot like a manta ray.
"Incoming transmission," the Seahorse's computer says. A man with a large, silver helmet then appears on the screen.
"Black Manta," I say.
"Green Arrow," Black Manta replies. "You have something I want."
"Why do I doubt you're talking about my archery skill?"
"I want the orichalcum," Black Manta says, leaning closer to the screen, "And I have no problem killing you to get it."
The transmission cuts out, and I then hear a whooshing sound. Turning, I see a bunch of torpedoes coming out of Black Manta's submarine.
"Seahorse, dodge those rockets!"
The Seahorse does what I told it and starts swerving left and right to avoid the torpedoes, but as it jumps to the side, Black Manta's sub hits it and me.
