Richard glanced over and had no intention of giving Sharye any chance to act. With a grab of his right hand, a ball of blood-red energy quickly condensed into a spear in his hand, and he began to aim.
At this moment, numerous Angels by Sharye's side flapped their wings and stepped in to block. Numbering in the hundreds, they held Longswords forged from golden light, cutting off all routes to attack Sharye from above.
"Blasphemer, prepare to die!"
The Angels shouted, attacking with all their might.
Richard couldn't help but frown. He didn't want to give Sharye a chance to complete his skill, but he couldn't ignore the Angels either. Pursing his lips, he gripped the Blood Spear tightly and thrust it towards the area with the most Angels.
"Boom!"
The tip of the Blood Spear exploded, creating an Energy Storm that blasted a hole in the Angels' defense line.
