Felix froze for a moment when he heard that. He stopped the car, turned around, and looked at his daughter. There was a bit of worry and a bit of sadness in her eyes.
Felix said, "Nina is so adorable, how could Daddy ever not want you?"
"We're not at school yet, Daddy, why did you stop the car?"
Felix looked at her and said, "Don't overthink it."
He drove the car to the school, parked, lifted Nina out of the car, looked at the little girl in front of him, and patted her head. "Daddy will come pick you up tonight."
"Okay."
Felix gave her a kiss and let her go.
She ran off quickly.
A classmate saw her and was a little envious. "Nina Rhodes, is that your dad?"
"Yeah."
"Your dad is so handsome, and he even brings you to school."
Nina turned back, glanced at Felix, then went into the school gate with a grin.
Felix looked at his silly daughter and let out a helpless sigh.
