Vivian Bell watched the scene and was momentarily dumbfounded.
She glanced at the water on Felix Rhodes' body; not much had splashed, some had dripped onto the ground.
But the sight of her son protecting her still filled her heart with emotion.
She reached out and hugged little Vivi, "Baby."
"Mom, don't be afraid, I will protect you." Although he was young, seeing Felix Rhodes angry at Vivian Bell had made him unusually brave.
Felix Rhodes stood aside, looking at his biological son, feeling somewhat hurt.
He had never imagined that one day, he would be seen as the bad guy by his own son.
He stood nearby and asked Vivian Bell, "Is this... what you wanted to see?"
The son didn't recognize him and treated him like an enemy.
"Vivi, do you think it's fair to me? To him? Ever since knowing he existed, I've been looking forward to his arrival, but... we haven't even had a real chance to bond. When we meet, we don't even recognize each other, Vivi, how can you bear it?"
