Grandpa looked at Scarlett Xavier and said, "I just like how serious you are. They're all so sly and boring."
Scarlett said, "You're making me feel even more embarrassed by saying that."
Grandpa looked at Scarlett and said, "Really, it's no problem. At home, you can be as happy as you want, don't feel like an outsider. Scarlett, after you left, I actually thought about many things. Everyone at home was afraid you'd run away, so they treated you very well... Perhaps it's because I was never harsh with you, so do you feel like I never treated you as one of us?"
Scarlett listened to Grandpa's words and said, "I know Grandpa is good to me."
Grandpa said, "Grandpa isn't as good as you think. I have a temper too... When I get angry, they're all quite afraid. But I've never really gotten angry with you... because there are some things you don't know."
