The person watching from the shadows saw Marcus Knight suddenly appear and panicked.
And with Marcus following Joy Shaw, their plan was completely thrown off.
Once they entered the hotel, that person rushed back to the restaurant to report to Hugh Sterling.

"Just about ten minutes ago," the man said.
Hugh Sterling frowned. "What's the situation now?"
"The wine that was prepared for Joy Shaw ended up being drunk by Marcus… Now they've gone to the hotel, looks like they're getting their things to leave. Marcus has been following Joy the whole time, we can't find an opening."
Hugh Sterling's face went grim. "Useless trash!"
Did they just fucking tailor the whole setup for Marcus Knight?
