Third-person POV
Back in the Philippine Senate, Tolentino had just finished his last batch of paperwork when an email came from Lia Baldassare, aunt of the Italian Parliament member Giovanni Baldassare and current leader of the Italian Parliament. It was written in highbrow English in both casual and formal language. When Tolentino opened it to read it, he snickered on that short email. The email expressed how Lia was proud of her nephew Giovanni and the Italian President Leopoldo Alberto in the contingency plans for Japan just in case the three superpowers ruin it and on giving harsh lectures on them for their part in the Hakaze Inn Conspiracy. Tolentino chuckled, and he downloaded the email in PDF format as a souvenir for this wonderful bond between countries during this crisis in Japan.
Back in the Tokyo summit hall, it was 11:20 a.m., and the first three rounds of roasting made time slow. The fourth round came in. "You're going to ruin Japan's culture and everything unique about them just for your δεκάρα (dekara) ego and profits!" Paraskevas roared at the envoys of the three superpowers. Again, they were shocked, and one American diplomat said frantically, "N-No! This operation is legitimate, and that was for promoting their culture efficiently."
"Promote?" Leo growled coldly. "You mean to make the Japanese heritage sites as stupid tourist traps and their culture less authentic and more mass-produced, you brats…"
"You're ruining the authenticity of it just for the Special Region and turning Japan into a damn puppet state," Leopoldo added coldly, "ruining their infrastructure, anime and manga culture, and historical continuation of their cultural identity."
Mass-produced things are a leverage for the three superpowers, but it was mocked by the MPC leaders.
"We're not ruining it!" one Russian envoy argued back. "We're making it more accessible."
"Like cheapening things out?" Oguz retorted back. "Not a chance, bozos."
"You're so fucking anti-capitalists!" the second American diplomat. "You value culture over progress? You're dismantling capitalism and globalization, the ones that make goods cheaper and accessible! Japan had its own problems! And we're the ones who will fix it"
"Stop deviating from the main topic…" Leo replied back, "…you nearly knocked their power grid and caused a siege at a traditional inn."
"If you dare to turn Japan into a puppet state and ruin its culture that everyone in the world loves…" Paulo responded with his Sao Paulo accent thick and clear, "…we will take its culture and preserve it in our lands, integrating them into our own cultures as parts of them and the original Japan we know."
"Plus, we will forbid any mass-produced garbage your big companies cheapened out on the quality of," Santiago added as his aura was like that of El Cid. "This is our fourth contingency plan."
The delegation from the Big Three were speechless and horrified. Itami, Hazama, and Kuribayashi saw that as some sort of a summarized, bigger plan of the previous three contingency plans. The MPC leaders are threatening to go preservationist and protectionist for Japanese culture. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Motoi was in awe of such a brilliant and clever masterstroke of a threat and a fourth, bigger contingency plan. "You guys…"
"Preservationist?!" one Chinese envoy responded. "You're ruining the global order! You're discrediting us!"
"How?" Paul responded as his Jakartan accent meant defiance. "That doesn't make sense…"
"Argh! You guys are going backwards against progress!" one Russian envoy roared. "Fine! No annexation of Japan only then. There, happy now?"
"But no annexation of the Special Region…" Leo insisted.
"You guys are so traditionalist and anti-globalization!" another American diplomat shrieked. "Your operations against our black ops ruined the global economy! You're sacrificing your country's futures just for Japan!"
"Plus," one CIA director beside him added in retaliation, "you used a 2000s computer virus to hack into our system! You're all state-sponsored hackers! A violation of sovereignty!"
"Says from the guy who sent out CIA agents to ruin Japan's power grid…" Santiago retorted harshly, "…plus, your big companies ruined Filipino ube by losing its originality. We're done with you guys pulling the strings of our nations for your egos and profits."
"ARGH!" another American delegate screamed in stress. "That's it! We're canceling our deals with your countries! We're sick of you guys blocking progress."
"Like a few coup d'etats that nearly toppled most of our past administrations?" Leo responded. "I think the CIA had a few dirty memories of it."
"We'll declassify it, okay? We'll say the truth and never touch your borders ever again! Plus, we'll fine our American firms for ruining Ube and begging for the real stuff, okay?"
"Not until you leave Japan and the Special Region alone…" Oguz hissed.
This back-and-forth argument basically proved how united the MPC leaders are as a group.
Across the gate to the Special Region, as lunchtime was being served in both the Dane Woods and the Alnus Base, the MPC agents and the JSDF were doubling over at the brilliance of the second and fourth contingency plans of the MPC. Back in the detention facility in Tokyo, the detained coalition of Triad Power agents spilled everything to Rhea, Rahman, and other stationed MPC agents and Japanese police personnel. They admitted conspiring to kidnap the Special Region guests at the Hakaze Inn that night a few days ago as orders from the SVR, MSS, and CIA and for the resources of the Special Region. The beans had been spilled, and the Triad Power envoys in the Tokyo summit hall were feeling metaphorical migraines on being refuted by the united MPC leaders and their members.
