"Is it always that boring to land in a congregation meeting"
A soft hum came from her shoulder walking down the side walk with Eurus, she glanced at the dove civilians walking past them, she turned away,
"It calm not boring i don't know which one to be more worried for" Judy sighed her hand clenched onto her bag catching the security that's supposed to bring them into the building, Eurus peered at the hidden dove in Judy's black jacket,
"Ether one is terrible always ends up with someone thrown," Eurus expressed
They walked past the security as the slowly follow them from behind Apollo peeked out of Judy's
"Doesn't that guy have a large upper body small lower, like some kind of magic mirror" Apollo let out,
Judy walked past the man with a slight nod they started to follow her, Eurus glanced at the dove quickly and then looked at the security men Apollo was talking about, the man was large in stature his arms where pythons his chest like a boulder but his legs were lanky long, Eurus glanced at Apollo,
"Your not entirely wrong" Eurus assured
"See im not totally delusional" Apollo said looking up at Judy puffing up his chest, admiring her when Eurus pushed the dove back into the jacket, he heard a flurry of whispered hidden curses, he only scoffed at the bird,
"They have ears through all that muscle Apollo, keep your head down and your beak shut"
Eurus felt Apollo struggle moving his hand away, Apollo popped his head out over Judy's shoulder its beady eyes gave a stiff glare to Eurus to where he could even see a snare on the doves beak,
"Dont try that again you limp waisted quick silver" Apollo seethed
"Then don't oggle the security" Eurus countered
Apollo scoffed at him sending him another glare when he looked at the men again while Judy and Eurus walked by the door, he saw the one from before and couldn't help what came out,
"Like a flamingo but less of an awe factor of one" Apollo said through the dove unimpressed
Eurus glared at where Apollo was and jabbed where the doves head is, he pushed it down making it seem like he's wrapping his arm around her, Judy held her face calm only flickering her gaze to Eurus her lips trembling trying not to smile, The man looks at them observing them walking thought the doors,
"Senator your seat is ready for you"
"Thank you" Judy thanked walking down the hallway with Eurus who kept his arm around her shoulder just to keep the dove from moving, Eurus nodded at the man passing down the hallway he heard the creative cussing under Judy's jacket.
"Fucking white haired copy cat"
Eurus cut him off letting go of Apollo and Judy, The dove moved to the collar of Judy's jacket and peeked his head out sending daggers at Eurus and he sent it right back, Judy looked at them with faint amusement the ends of her eyes crinkled at the edges,
"We are almost at the chambers Eurus act like a gentleman not a man with a grudge match" Judy interrupted
Eurus glanced at his auntie, he saw the hint of enjoyment in her face and scoffed leaning back into his own space, with his hands fixing his jacket, Apollo gave him one amused stare,
"Not yet gorgeous but when he doesn't see it coming will come in knocking him off the ringer" Apollo assured,
Judy looked at the dove a small grin she leaned her head to the side softly addressing the dove,
"Talk to me when you have less feathers"
The dove blushed slightly and turned to its side eyes lashes fluttering, its beak laid on her collar bone,
"Your saying I have a chance?" Apollo asked
The dove titles its head to the side admiring how the lights made Judy's blue hues shine. When the doors opened conversation loud and small came through them, Eurus kept the door opened for Judy, they walked through the seal closed behind them, Eurus took a step to Judy standing beside her as they scanned over the chambers, Judy straightened herself looking over the many groups, all in their own factions she couldn't even tell them apart. She glanced at Eurus and faintly nodded, they already went through the plane before the plane landed, following her lead. Eurus followed behind Judy his eyes flickering across the room, catching a few eyes gawking at them, he sent them an uninterested glance before trailing behind Judy his hand on her arm as he helped her to their seats, Lee heard the room almost shift when they appeared, it was loud shifting into quiet murmurs, looking up she sees a black hair of Judy bouncing with each step down the steps with a white hair streak behind her,
"there she is where have you been Judy" Lee let out her hand twitching on her knees, Judy looked at her a soft inviting smile,
"Lee sorry I was caught in a draft the plane had a delay a rather large one," Judy half lied setting her bag beside her chair and Eurus sat behind her, she felt the slight movement in her jacket, she kept her gaze on Lee with a strained smile she sat down,
"It looked like it worried you wouldn't make it, the negotiations would have halted" Lee sighed moving a hand through the white locks,
Alex looked up from his phone, he sent the message and placed it in his pocket, he peered up at Judy eyes flickering to Eurus,
"Judy seems like you brought the white haired rebel again this time try not to start fights with the senator from Missouri" Alex greeted
Eurus stared at him hiding the inner turmoil brewing in his chest, he sent an exasperated look at Alex and spoke fast,
"Dont count on it if there going to speak like there the only one with a brian"
Alex smiled at him his shoulder shaked trying to hold in the laughter, he glanced at Judy seeing her and Lee held a small amused smile with a slight chuckle, he didn't see the jacket move, or the muffed angry grumbling,
"Piece of shit mocking white haired simp for me, coming in on my woman"
Judy tried to hold her soft smile hearing Apollo venomous words in her jacket trying not to show any of the jacket having a voice of its own. She smiled still turning her head to the leader of the senate chair,
"I see he hasn't changed has he
Alex glanced at her particularly her jacket when he met her gaze finding Lee observing the chair with them,
"The old cron surprised he made it out his hospital bed," Alex scoffed leaning on his knees,
Judy let out a sigh but she agreed nodding, she watched as the man was helped up the stairs by the leader of the senate, he was old. Too old to be in a seat like this Judy leaned on her hand hearing something with in her jacket that made her almost snort when hearing it,
"Damn when was that geezer born in Odin's time,"
Judy had to stop herself from letting out a small chuckle covering her mouth, she felt Apollo move when Eurus held her shoulder, held Apollo on the shoulder making Apollo stay still, Judy looked at Eurus he motion to the old man, but the group beside the geezer, they watched from there seats brooding calculating,
"Same snakes or different ones?" Eurus asked letting go of the jacket straightened the shoulder of her jacket, flicking the doves head as he did leaning back, his eyes stayed on the shoulder and Alex, finding that Apollo tried to peek at Alex once or twice with how Apollo is moving,
"Yes there is, some of them are the new internships like yours Eurus but them like the blood suckers here want easy pay checks and power that could make a king weep" Lee addressed
Judy peered at Lee feeling the hairs on her neck stood up, her eyes flickered to Eurus when she asked,
"How many of the new internships are there I haven't heard of them out of Eurus and his…is special to me" Judy inquired
Lee motioned her thumb points at the group of young and middle aged around the senate, she found some were already staring at them but brought their attention to the senator chairmen for this hearing, he sat next to the older senator with a softly inviting smile that seemed fake more than friendly,
"How are we all today?" He asked before the news started to film usually, he scanning the room he found both sides having the greeting and mummers, he nods with a slight sigh flipping through his papers, the six of the watched Apollo with the collar of her jacket, wide needy eyes at first into a sassy judgmental look, he muttered under his breath drawing Judy's attention for a moment off of the chairmen,
"That guy is worse then olympus political games, more fake smiles and half hearted knives in the back, mine was more of an arrow but you get the point"
Judy gave an unnoticeable nod to Apollo her gaze stayed on the chairman as the pleasant tone that could make someone oblivious think there a good guy,
"We gather here today on the verdict of Max Max Kluse and Yuval Bates, they will be sent in shortly but we will have our side talking on the conviction before its sent to the Department of justice"
The chairman stopped looking through his papers and glanced at each side until he landed on the left, his eyes catching Alex Greens unimpressed. Guarded. The chairmen shots finding Judy beside him watching he felt a small smile on his face,
"We call up to the stand Judy diamond to the stand"
Judy observed stunned glances at Alex and Lee, they were doing the same, they were caught off like she is.
"They don't do that…they pick Nancy or Mike, not this side." Lee whispered to only the two of them,
Alex nods agreeing with her leaning on his right side he looked at them,
"It's a strategy unless they have a bomb to drop, a new bill we have to pass they happened to not mention or a deal they want to make behind scenes," Alex calibrated scanning over the chambers noting how infuriated the other side is. He smirked when he saw Nancy got up to the stand about to complain,
"the Senator from California is not seen please head back to your seat," the chairmen interjected
Nancy held the microphone glaring at them then the chair men and starts to speak,
"You can't be serious, it's supposed to be from one side to anchor countering each other, why choose them first?" Nancy shrill voice went through the speaker, making most flinch away or wished they had ear plugs, The chairman looked at her and cut down her complaints,
"I see your concern Nancy but this is from her work isn't it?"
"Yes but I have a very important appointment i have to get to and for you to cause this stunt chairmen," Nancy retorted
"Yeah at the end of a wine bottle" Alex muttered
Judy held her breath to stop herself from laughing but Lee couldn't she smiled at him sending a knowing look,
"We need to look like we are united Alex" Lee sighed
"We are one let them believe we have some dysfunction it will hinder them useless," Alex explained
Lee nods glancing at where Nancy was fuming grabbing her papers as they turned the microphone off so she wouldn't keep going about the transparency of her speech, she wobble back to her seat as the chairman and most of the senate looked at Judy and her group,
"Senator from Washington please come to the stand," The chairman asked his cold almost distasteful gaze over the group,
Judy looked at Alex then Lee, "keep an eye on the groups never know when there's actually some agreement or just the usual disgust they fail to hide" Judy spoke almost amused she glanced at Eurus getting up, an agreement went through them watch each other's back for anything odd, Eurus witnessed her walking to the podium a small feather peeked out, Apollo dove looked out at the chambers but at Eurus in particular, a faint grin on the beak of the dove as it motions his head to Judy,
"Cocky little ornament," Eurus grumbled under his breath leaning on his hand while his arm was on behind the chair, Alex glanced at him a slight confused grin,
"What was that buddy?" Alex inquired
"Nothing just thinking of the paper work after words" Eurus excused himself watching his aunt,
The dove curled in Judy's shoulder and gave Eurus a side glance amused as his head laid in her neck, Judy helped herself not glancing at them she stared at the chair men and the senators helping him,
"Thank you chairmen, I come to you today after the questions, after the lies from both Yuval and Max, their sides of the parties."
Judy started motioning to both side of the chamber her gaze scanned over the seats seeing the disgusted or apprehensive, she looked to where the door where and pointed at one, "outside those doors…those men have killed and silenced those who tried to warn of them, of Herman of the viruses they where making of the artificial intelligence they where placing in our system, but they haven't gotten all they have been owed to them, doubled"
Judy's voice echoed throughout the room her blue bright hues stunned with passion, Apollo looked up at her his wing under his chin,
"God, that's so passionate, so much fury.." He spoke through the dove, his chest puffing up as he admired her,
Judy turned to the podium looking at her papers,
"We hold them accountable after years of them living off the government and hiding behind their own paid off spys, they still go convicted here…by a hair from each side of the chamber coming together, they got convicted,"
Judy says her gaze caught one side of the room where the new internships are, she held herself and said sternly,
"We know what they have done, they are convicted, we are only waiting on the department of justice. I say to you now the ones who voted to keep them from their crimes knowing who you are wont like what I say, not that you care for it, they lost so will you."
Eurus listened to his aunt his eyes held a faint admiring shimmer, Alex and Lee watch with an acknowledged look, Lee with a smile, Alex leaned back his arm over the back of her chair, giving her a thumbs up when he caught something, dark in the doorway as it opened a crack, Alex slowly put his hand down, he turned his gaze scanning the chambers. Multiple shadows looming on the seats of each side, over the young and old, he turned to Judy her voice,
"This feels too much like Herman" Alex whispered
