"I have no intention of letting them corner me into not going to my office they need me there for a vote," Judy said
She's been preparing for her plan having Eurus distract the two sentient gods in the living room tell them what he and Shai were up to before they made it into her life, to him chasing her into a forest and meeting her in a ditch but it couldn't work for long, Judy took her tablet a small colander and some papers she had placed it in her bag taking her identification, her badge and her shield indeed init, putting it in her back she didn't hear a small notification beep from behind her.

Judy jolted her body turned so fast she felt her body ache on impact, she looked seeing Claire's blue eyes staring curiously into hers, she held a small smile, but held serious look on her face, she watched the pale albino snake shine from the sun shining in the room her hair fell softly around her hips, Judy looked Claire over once more before letting out a worried chuckle,
"You had me frightened, next time we need to make a louder notification, I didn't hear it," Judy let out starting to pack again, her back turned to her when Caire pulled at her arm made Judy look back, Claire calm timid tightened her grip on Judy's arm, her eyes glowed a deep set of blue, warning.
"There..the ummm guest you have they aren't with Eurus at the moment,"
Judy froze, her eyes squinted, confused. She just saw them through her tablet before packing. They were drinking wine talking with her nephew, laughing at the uncertainty from his adventures with Shai, when she stopped listening to them. It was quite other than the hum from the houses main frame,
"Theyer gone?" Judy asked
"Not exactly Misstress, from where i was watching them, they where laughing talking with little Eurus when Ares the one in the red helmet he froze his eyes turned here when Athena looked where he has, she disappeared from my sight afterwards Ares was more authoritative, he stood up glancing at me and Eurus said, "Trying to tick us by leaving is a choice not a good one but a choice nonetheless" And disappeared like Athena, into thin air nothing left," Claire explained
Judy stopped, she knew they could do that outside her house that serpent pattered still laid there waiting. But into thin air told from their mythology. Judy turned fully to Claire, her eyes glared almost, they can't stop her from going to this meeting, the vote will be delayed and she needed it through a week ago.
"Do you have their heat signature around the house?"
Claire moved her hand up showing the live heat maps of their home, nothing but her, Eurus and Claire, she scanned over it at first stunned but it slowly turned into a resolve that she built over years in the political sphere.
"Get the car up front now Claire and," Judy stopped going to reach for her bag when she felt it wasn't there, Staring at Claire confused when she caught Claire's eyes widen slightly the maps disappeared entirely her hand reached out behind her, Judy moved around fast her air caught in her lips, hitting her face when she saw what Claire did, Athena holding onto her bag placid it father from them one hand clenched onto her window cill,
"You know it is dangerous to walk out in that jungle even if it's yours to cut through," Athena professed,
Judy stared at her seeing her intention, Athena was holding onto the bag light staring into it, finding her tablet and papers, she wasn't stiff she looked more relaxed then stressed, Athena looked up at her her arm dropped with the bag,
"How…How did you get in here?"
"We got in here is how we appear anywhere,"
A voice came out from behind them, rough and burnt out, Judy and Claire turned to the voice see Ares leaning on the wall near the door his helmet disregarded, his eyes the darkest browns, his shaggy brown hair caught in the light as he pushed off the wall taking a step towards them,
"You go out there they will come after you," Ares stated leaning over them a shadow cast over the two, Claire stood next to Judy staring up at him with hesitations and obliviousness, her hand reached out to push him away, Judy glared at the two her eyes flickering to them the blue and the red contrast over them making a thin outline of them, Judy felt a flare of irritation from them, she pointed at them and expressed,
"I know your here to protect us because of Shai, im still needed in the Senate and they need me for the vote,"
"Cant they convince on the other side of the podium to finish your bill?" Athena asked pushing off the window sill walking to them a softer epoch then Ares she set the bag down on the desk, she genuinely wanted to understand why Judy needs to go in this situation they had themselves thrown in,
"They would have been a stand still, they would have had thrown it out if i dont make it there in time, I'm not the only senator who needs to be there, but every vote counts on my side of the aisle Judy explained reaching for her bag only for Ares to snag it before she could, he pulled it to his side glaring down at them eyes kept shifting to red as he leans on her desk his hand braised on it,
"That makes no difference to what we find ourselves in. They are hunting you and your nephew, its more of a vulnerability to have you both separated then in one place," Ares commended
"More vulnerable no matter what me or him do we are in danger of one of the unknown to the human mind but known in a supernatural lens of you entities, if i stay here everything i worked for after Yuval and Max, i've helped made it to this build puts penalty for AI programering intended for destruction," Judy explained her hand went for her bag Ares moved it again placing little effort into that, he tilted his head to Judy his voice cautiously grave.
"Judy you've worked on this, its your project all that you have held passion and drive towards, but I mustn't let you go to that building, we have no idea where they might be,"
"I get that, that's why your supposed to protect me, why cant you follow me there and one stay here with Eurus, it s win win all around," Judy said
She looked between them trying to make sense of this, the needle to protect them then they can split up and guard them from her, anyways she can et to Washington without missing the vote, Ares stared down at her scanning her seeing her tense her eyes a daggered glare at him but lighter at Athena, he appreciated that however she's asking them for splitting up their power each other to have her whims, Ares peered at Athena finding her thinking she then held his gaze leaning over to the two and open her mouth saying,
"Judy, that's a well thought plan but even with that certainty they are much stronger then you have thought they are like us, made from us this.."
Something tapped on the window behind her, a small tap that made the room go still, Claire flinched looking over Judy's shoulder, her blue gaze scanned the window fast, Arres beside them place the bag on the desk his eyes glared looking through the window watching the wind blow past the tall pines, nothing. Judy tried to look thought where he's looking but Athena went to the window right as a voice came through the glass muffled,
"Athena..get me in there it windy out her worse when the time Hermes used his boots to make a fan, at that he made most of us fly involuntarily ."
Athena had a slight head shake, hearing it better than the other three could, she opened the window a gold dove flew in, landing next to Ares hand,
"That was an updraft I never want to navigate again," The bird huffed, ruffling its feathers,
"What is that Claire?" Judy let out her eyes wide, observing he dove chirping at Ares as he tried to grab it, Claire took Judy's arms placing her a bit behind her, eyes scanning the bird, a blue light shined onto it while Claire explained what they were seeing to Athenas and Ares amusement,
"It may look like a bird but there's only a slight heat signal, there isn't any organs to the bird or breathing, not even a heart its just feathers and gold,"
"Nothing normal?" Judy inquired further.
"No not that i can see of mistress," Claire answered her eyes peered back to Judy blue eyes dimmed, Judy looked at her finding that Claire was worried wanted to sooth her,
"Theeres a reason for it if you will let me say this is a messenger," Athena interjected her hand motioned to the dove, it hopped closer to Judy his head titled towards Claire,
"Thats intriguing she saw through the outerworking of my power, nice i already dont like you,"
"I didn't mean to offend little dove," Claire said hesitantly with a soft smile, hearing a chuckle from Ares. Athena glanced at her a softer look than the one before,
"You are right, however, but it's not just feathers and gold, there's a soul here," The bird started
It took a step closer to Judy scanning over her, the bird chirped, judging, its a squint at her with a huff came through,
"You're the ones who Shai wants us to protect, how boring I thought you would be downcast college students or at least something with a bit more…edge to it,"
Judy stared at the oven, debating if she would engage with it or leave it to its sarcastic banter for itself. She reached out her hand and landed near it, she leaned closer her face looming. Her confused gaze turned into something more formidable,
"What are you here for other than to push my patience more than it already has?" Judy asked
"Well, messenger, hello, im here because I've been watching Dalos, he's a ratty, you know, slow to show his true intentions, conniving even when he strikes, it's messy to say the least,"
The dove moved its wings, motioning it over its body, as it shook its beak at her, he peered unamused at Claire once more before his gold eyes caught Ares brown hues shimmering with a deep red on the sides that responded. The dove almost rolled its eyes when it stopped, it honed, getting more serious it squinted. There's a shift in the room, it was warm and accusing, but this was worse the heat increased with the light around the bird flickers it chirped, it got stiff in the room held in a bewildered standing,
"Ares they found the humans little senate building has been infiltrated,"
The sentence made the room go quiet, Claire held onto Judy tighter her nails slowly digging in. Her eyes glowed a blue, scanning over the bird, but text words played in her eyes, Judy stopped breathing altogether, her hand limp on the desk as she stared at the bird too frightened to say a word. Ares hummed, moving closer to the dove,
"You mean he sent his men?" Ares asked
"There's more than that. You always had a dull mind Ares, he sent a battalion of his men and a general for scouting. They have not gotten into the cabinets from what I've seen, but who knows," The bird stated, walking towards Athena as she leaned over the bird,
"Then you have them in your sight, Apollo?"
"I might think it's hard to watch with how much arrogance laid in this place."
"Apollo, we don't need your endless wisdom laced with mockery, we need your sight to tell it," Ares grumbled
"Hold on to your skirt Ares i have this," The bird or Apollo teased turning back to Athena. Its head reached his back,
"They are in the cabinet on both sides, they've only reached the Congress trying to reach into the senate, and the general had known of Shaisifiliation with Someone from the Senate, no name not yet," Apollo said his dove moved onto her arm turning to Judy his head tilted his messenger's head to the side a soft question came from him,
"And they're talking about you, right there trying to find the senator from Washington, in their words not mine,"
Judy, stunned, gathered herself, clearing her throat, standing up straight,
"I am that yes, they're looking for me to kill me or use me as leverage,"
"Probably both just to freak Shai out if she finds you missing," Ares uttered
"Dolas isn't that kind he would probably throw them from the sky and let them fall into the ground, however, under these new developments, you cant go thats an order, not a suggestion," Athena interjected she stood next to them her blue eyes glaring into Judy seeing the will to argue for her cause, Judy met Athena's glare with her own,
"I can't leave the vote they need all participants," Judy argued her hand tighten at her sides her body stiffening, seeing Athena's glare get colder,
"You can't go, that's the end of it.."
"Why can't we just all go and stop the needless bickering my ears are starting to ring,"
Both of them turned to the door frame. Eurus leaned on the door head white hair covering his eyes as he scanned them all, he smiled,
"Is this a sense from the clash of the Olympus ? And wasn't I supposed to be talking with the two of you?" Eurus questioned
