"RAAAHHHH!" Broly erupted in power as he became muscular and taller. Paragus pressed a small switch in his palm he thought went unnoticed. "I'll CRUSH YOU!" He lunged at Peppra.
"Hmm?" Peppra just stood there as she felt a power that made her exciting but Kakareot's words and demeanor had her thinking in excitement. She barely saw him jump in front defending her. "Thanks, I suppose."
Bulma and Launch just chuckled seeing the embarrassed Saiyan female.
"Haa!" Kakarot delivered a knee strike to the head during a quick power rush. The sound of a bone-breaking was nothing to celebrate about. He teleported both of them a few miles away to fight. "Ugh!" He was grabbed by the waist and pulled down to the ground in reaction quickly.
*Booom!* The island gave way from the impact. The sides fell off into the water as smoke obscured everyones' vision who watched.
*THUUMMM!* A blast of red ki shot from the water into the air. Broly large body riding on it with a smile of excitement. It was very evident to everyone he was enjoying himself. Kakarot didn't appear out of the water though.
Using the time to realign his shoulder and leg. The dislocation was not to bad and his magic helped stem the worst of it off.
"Hahaha!" Broly crushed the ki blast and just hovered in the air for a while. Wiping some blood from his cheek in joy. "You can't stay down there Kakarot!" The teasing tone held a trace of manic glee. Arm outstretched, he prepared a Ki blast of his own. "Come out.. come out!"
*Bwoom!* The energy traveled from his core all the way to his palm. 1 second it was the size of a baseball. 2 seconds it was the size of a volleyball. In 5 it was bigger than a satellite. As it was launched, the pressure pushed the waves apart and evaporated a good portion of water.
'A good pick me up at least.' Kakarot caught the blast and immediately absorbed it. The raw energy caused his hands to shake violently. 'Damn this shit is wild!' His mind was racing as judgment was partially clouded briefly.
Absorbing the rampant energy took time. The time he would not have against an opponent like this to test all theories. Broly was at him again once sight was locked on down. But Kakarot was more skillful in hand to hand by far.
"Tch!" Hitting fists, was the first of the clash. Leg hit against leg. Knee strike met knee strike. "I see!" Changing styles to otherworld Style, blows started to land more frequently without getting matched. 'Someone gave him some of my fighting Styles!'
A throat chop caused Broly to suck air in a hiccup but his muscles recovered quicker than a few seconds. He delivered a backhand to Kakarot that swatted him away like a fly.
Dodging was just out of the question. It was either counter or intercept each time. Broly had reach which made it even worse to fight against him. The lanky muscle-increasing warrior knew how to press it to his advantage to.
At least he let him think so. Each time a brush was done with the use of his shoulders sloppily, magic wrapped around Broly for later. A few quick jabs delivered along with pressure points on helped to slow Ki flow a bit.
Only a little due to the increasing energy in response to any threat. Which happen as the Dark King Aura clashed against the Legendary Super Saiyan's natural power.
"Come .. on let's kick it up a notch!" As they grappled, Broly snapped Kakarot's wrists and then delivered a headbutt as his power increased 3x fold. To make it worse, he delivered a front kick next in succession. "HAAAAAHHHH!"
Blown away from the kick, Kakarot recovered just to be blasted with an oppressive ki blast to the body. The size matched the one fired at Broly before but way more power packed in. It was overwhelming and caused him to block his own Ki sense to keep from suffocating.
The pressure still made it difficult to focus on the surroundings.
"Ha..ha...." Taking a few deep breaths, Kakarot wiped the blood from his mouth. His armor was destroyed at the top only leaving the bottoms intact with his scouter fritzing a little.
"Well.. this is not good." Bulma had to turn her scouter off to keep from looking at the number that popped up. "His power just skyrocketed again. Kakarot can't beat that normally. He has used more than base power."
"I feel sick." Mai cut her Ki Sense off to late. "He is a bottomless energy well! This.. is not right! Why would Kakarot even want to save someone like this!?" She immediately felt fear for her life and the others. "I say we ditch this planet in every way! The Wild energy is not worth it anyway!"
"I can understand that." Launch was grateful none of them were allowed to go out there and fight him. Which admitting to herself made her feel sick. Her Pride just didn't like the idea of cowering away. Finger played with a trigger just to calm down. "You will get involved if he is going to die right?"
Towa said nothing as the woman stared at her from the side.
"TOWA!" Launch grabbed the demon by the lab coat turning her around to face her. "YOU WILL HELP HIM!" It was no longer a question but a demand. "GRRR!" Letting her go, she was about to get closer to provide some help if needed.
"Stop!" Peppra shouted. "It will be fine, Kakarot.. is smiling. It has to be going well. Plus I think his teacher would help if something happens." She didn't look away from the fight as her tail swished about happily. "What a nice fight... I wonder if I can spar against the winner?"
"She cannot." Bulma said weakly after receiving a mental thought from Kakarot. "This is something that Kakarot has to do himself. We can only hope he wins.. or better yet survive." She was a scientist more than a warrior, the numbers just didn't look great. "He has to win, this is only the beginning."
Thinking about how Kakarot only let the kids come along but only if Towa watched over them she was starting to understand a little more about the role the woman had with him.
A rumble on the ground had them looking worried once more.
"A woman came about a year ago I think it was," Broly held the broken Dark King up in the air upside down. Somewhat amused that he didn't beg for him to stop or anything like that. Kakarot only looked at him with one eye open. "said someone would come one day to try and take me away. Said he would tell me a few words to discredit my father."
The healing of his mind and trauma was working against Kakarot right now. Clarity against the Mind Control device briefly.
"Heh.. try.. whether you believe it or not, that man is scum. I have never treated my children or my foster children like that." Kakarot grabbed the large arm with growing strength. "Not much to do against someone with the level of "Batter Syndrome" you have. I didn't think you were so weak. So...."
"Raggh!" Broly slammed him into the ground repeatedly like a ragdoll. "Broly is not weak! You are weak! I am powerful! So strong you can do nothing to me!"
*Crumble!* The ground and mountainside gave way as Kakarot was smashed into it. The smile never left his face and made Broly attack him more aggressively. Power growing in conjunction.
"Hehe... you are weak because you haven't chosen your own fate.. boy. You can't be saved now.. but a good whetstone works.." Kakarot one good eye fired the Laser Eye out before immediately going to the other. 'Close enough to death to do this now!'
"Ahhh!" Broly let go as he grabbed his head in pain. Vision cut, he didn't see Kakarot split into seven. He did feel them grab hold of him. "You bugs can't beat me!"
*Woom!* His power was about to climb but didn't get the chance to. Seven different pair of fangs latched into his body draining him faster than it could build up actually. The use of Vampirism healing along with Absorption at a remarkable rate.
"Tasty!" Paying back a backhand with 3x of force, the each of the multiforms dragged Broly across terrain. Whenever one would be grabbed, another would sink their fangs in again getting a pick me up. "HAHH!"
Firing 100's of Ki Blasts around in a string, the Multiforms kept them away from contact. Pushed a little harder, Broly's power erupted creating a sphere of power. The two multi forms holding on were blasted back missing limbs.
'Volley Burst!' The ki blasts battered into the shield breaking it in moments. The remaining ones smacked the Legendary Super Saiyan around back and forth causing disorientation. 'Control Nodes in his body... what interesting technology.'
Little metallic sticks no bigger than an inch were located all over his body. The combination of blasts and increasing power internally caused them to start to malfunction.
THe prime Kakarot slowly gathered Ki from the surroundings mixing it with his magic. Using Blood Bomber with Teleportation, he drove it point-blank into Broly's backside. His Ki and Magic run through the other body at a devastating pace.
'His natural Ki is really resilient!' Flying off after launching him away, he only had a little bit of time to think of what to do. 'Killing him is easier than just subduing him... then again his Body is evolving again.'
*Fwoosh!* Flying out in a rage, Broly was attacked by the Multiforms but battered them to the side with a few exchanges easily. Each time he came back stronger and more ruthless. His hair started to flicker taking on a darker greenish gold glow.
"Here's a pick me up!" A multiform stabbed him in the base of the neck after th transformation finished. "Shit!" Throwing his hands up in a cross block, it didn't matter. "Ughh!"
Both of his arms snapped with the bones stabbing into his own chest. Reaching for the Injector, Broly's power burned it away into nothingness to fast. But not faster than what was injected into his bloodstream.
"What did you do to me!?" Broly stumbled back looking pale a few seconds later. Dropping to a knee as his Ki was stifled finally. It picked back up slowly thanks to the Legendary Super Saiyan Ki special properties after adapting. "ANSWER ME!"
"Humph!" Kakarot grinned not answering him at all. All the Multiforms recovered visibly on the spot along with himself. Taking out the Dark Senzu Beans, they popped them and swallowed quickly. "That's better."
Regeneration and rampant recovery helped take care of the absorbed Ki from Broly.
His Ki rising and increasing in tandem with the activation of Saiyan Power. Broly's Ki was trying to destroy him from the inside out but it also helped speed up his healing. Increasing in power while healing at the same time was the best but very painful.
"The moment you attacked me, you became my enemy. Especially attacking one of my people." The red in his eyes turned darker as the air started to fluctuate. "Your thoughts should be your own right now... yet you continued to fight me."
"Heh!" Broly smiled wickedly as his eyes shined with ki before vanishing into pure white. A cocoon of green dense Ki close to that of Divine Ki shattered. "Towa would be mad if I didn't. Couldn't disappoint her favor she gave me. All I have to do is take you out and kill your loved ones and I will be able to see my mother."
Kakarot's eyes narrowed as he actually never thought about Broly's mother once since arriving. But thinking it over, he knew she was dead in this Dimension. As well as most of the other Subsidiary Dimensions.
"Kill my loved ones?" Kakarot's and the multiforms all said together. Pushed by the power of the Dark King Aura and its influence, he was losing control briefly. But his mind would not allow such a thing at this point. "I will have to stop you then!"
From the ship, the kids watched it closely.
"Dad.. looks pissed." Lazuli looked at the screen. "He really wanted to save this guy. But guess it wasn't meant to be."
"Yeah.." Rigor looked saddened by this fact. 'Would I have turned out like this if he didn't help me?'
"Woah!" Ruby exclaimed watching their father's hair flicker a little. "Is he is gonna do it?!" Ruby felt weird her father never unlocked Super Saiyan really. They did so but something kept him from doing so. "Come on old man!"
The golden aura around the multiforms was tinged with red. His hair remained the same but his eyes vanished into whiteness when watching closely.
