We sat comfortably in our seats on the British Airways flight back to Munich, our faces beaming with joy as we'd soon see home again. After all, it was the weekend tomorrow, so we still had time to stretch before returning to work on Monday.
Most excitingly, my husband was returning home from Helsinki today. After almost two weeks apart, he had deliberately made his return earlier. My busy schedule in London gave him enough time to catch up on work without the constant bombardment of messages or emails from me.
I couldn't wait to see everyone at home, share gifts with them, and spend Sunday doing some household chores.
