Chapter 73 - THE START OF CHAOS

"No no! That's wrong!" Cason brags as he saw how Ashleah used her powers. The Magician quickly flew up to where Ashleah was, as he sighed and shook his head. "Princess, do this instead of that."

The two continued to practice their magic, everyone below who were getting deadly trained by Kian and Gab, were panting out for air. As Nash looked up, yes he was joggling up training and– his responsibilites as a Duke.

Indeed, it takes a lot of his free time yet he chose to train. He does not want to always rely on his sword. Even though he was slowly getting known by it, he does not want to always rely on it. The sword will not always be there to save him, and it will not be always be there for him to use when there's a fight.

Ashleah's eyes gleamed as she perfectly made a bow and arrow using her magic. "Prescott!" She called out to the man who was talking to the other maids that were assigned to prepare the foods after training.

Blake, Enver, Akriel, Raven, Lovis chuckled as they looked up, amazed. The reply of their Fathers from the letter of Ashleah was expected really. They were sure that they weren't happy with it at first, but to think that— The Prince of their kingdom will come back with so much pride.

He fought side by side with the most known woman in the history that was currently in the making. Enver chuckled as he shook his head. "Every single day of our training– I mean, ever since it started. Ashleah makes me surprise and look up to her even more."

Everyone else who heard what Enver said also nodded their heads. As Prescott finally looked up, the man chuckled and transforms himself to a bird.

Lovis closes his eyes due to the bright light that Prescott makes every single time he makes himself turn back to his original form. "And even though we've been training for a 2 weeks now, I am still not that used to seeing the bright lights they make!"

What the Prince of Viede– Lovis, said made them laugh. But soon then the laughter faded when they felt those glaring eyes at them. The men continued to train as Gab and Kian glared at them.

The two did not wish to look like they were being strict, yet due to the rules and what the Emperor gave and told them to do, they had no choice but to do so.

They might say that they are quite young for their age, to train men that were a lot older than them. Still, their talents and reflexes will never be defined by age. You may look like you are a kid yet you have the minds. Do not look down on anyone just because of what they look or what you feel like they are.

Meanwhile, Prescott who quickly flew to his Master– Ashleah chuckled. "My, Your Highness you are quite the fast learner, please do release the arrow there–" He pointed below the ground using one of his wings where there was no one but the grass and small wild flowers. "and let us see how strong this bow and arrow you–"

The bird could not even finish as his eyes widened, the strong flash of wind went against him as a loud thud from the ground was made. Cason gasped and soon then started laughing while clapping his hands enthusiastically.

"Your Highness, please do pardon for my intrusion but– Are you really trying to break the half of our training grounds!?" Ashleah heard how Gab shouted at her.

She smiled awkwardly as she saw how Prescott slowly looked down and saw how that single bow, literally blowed up the ground where she hits it. Luckily there was no one who got injured.

"Uhm, yes. We need another training grounds for you." Prescott said as he quickly turns himself in a circular movement while he transforms himself back into a human being and floats across the air. "Since you do not need to hide anymore because everyone knows about your powers, we can actually try your bow and arrow right now and see how many damages it can do."

The beaming eyes of Prescott can be seen as he continues to explain what will happen making Cason and Ashleah look at each other, giggling. The man with sky blue eyes, looked at them confused.

"Ah, please do continue." Cason blurts out making Prescott shrug his shoulders and continue to what he was talking about earlier.

"Then, I will shoot my bow and arrows at the apple and we will see how much damage a normal one can make and what mine can do?" Ashleah, who slowly went down back to ground with Cason and Prescott blurts out.

"Yes." Prescott opened his palm and so suddenly with that six apples appeared out of nowhere in such flash, making Cason and Ashleah blink their eyes a couple of times.

"You like getting apples from the market without them noticing?" Cason chuckled, obviously teasing Prescott. The man who held the apples tightly chuckled back to Cason.

"I got these apples from my own room Cason, stop it.–" He took a deep breath, smiled at Ashleah before flashing in seconds, the six apples were now meters away from them. On top of a wood, inches away from each other. Prescott flashed again for the last time, smiled at Ashleah and handed out the bow and arrow to her. "–Well then, please do try it."

"W-What? What if I lose my–" Before Ashleah could finish what she was saying, Cason interrupted her with a huge smile plastered on his face.

"Do not worry, Your Highness." He opened up his palm, and his magic released out of it making a shield around them and the apples. "There, I practiced my magic a lot too since I know that you can break my shield apart."

Ashleah giggled and took a deep breath as she started to shoot the apples with a normal bow and arrow. With a smile on her face, bullseye!

The Princess woke up with a bright smile as she felt the sunlight on her face. Blinking quite a few times, she yawned slowly.

"Good Morning, Your Highness. How was your sleep?" Nanny Riley who was opening up the curtains lively greets the Princess who just woke up.

"I have meal with Father today, don't I Nanny?" She said as she slowly sat down on her bed, stretching her arms upward.

Nanny Riley replied with a simple nod. Excited, Ashleah stood up the moment she finished stretching her arms and legs. "My, Please do go straight to your bath." Nanny Riley chuckled.

Ever since the Emperor and The Princess' schedule went hectic, they barely have meals and interactions together. Which, even thought they try their best to hide it that they do miss talking to each other, the workers inside the Imperial Palace felt it.

-----------------

The two were happily talking while having breakfast inside the dining room of the Imperial Palace. "My, Father you look a bit stressed don't you?"

Ashleah giggled to her Father. "You also look like you are kind of stressed." Emperor Adler replied with the same teasing voice that Ashleah gave him earlier.

They continued to tease each other not until the door bursts open receiving a gasp from both of ths Emperor and the Princess.

"Pray pardon for my sudden intrusion but Commande Gab with Kian, and Prescott had given me orders that I should quickly tell you what's happening–"

"Stop with the explanations and please do tell us what's happening." Ashleah felt how her heart was beating fast, she gulped and bit her lower lip.

"The plaza is under attack."

She felt like her eyesight went black as she felt her anger rising. It was indeed THE START OF CHAOS.
