"Giulia, are you sure that you are okay with seeing the Marquess?" Ashleah asked while her hair was being done by her nanny.
Ashleah wore a beige silk dress with crinkled silk chiffon sleeves and overskirt and ivory white with gold metallic lace lower sleeves with a bodice overlay of gold embroidered aplique and last cording on bodice.
A satisfied smile came across her face as she looked at herself in front of her mirror. Giulia who was amazed because of the beauty of her highness giggled.
"My, Giulia, her highness is very attractive. Isn't she?" Riley said while fixing the dresses that were all over the place because they couldn't pick one.
"If I was a human, I would probably wish to be as gorgeous as her highness." She said without even batting an eye making Ashleah choke on her own saliva.
"Giulia, you are so pretty okay? And if you were to become human. You would probably look stunning okay?" Ashleah said as she looked at Giulia's reflection at the mirror. The 5 year old dragon nodded her head and smiled.
Knock! Knock! The princess' nanny quickly made her way to the gigantic door and opened it slowly only to be welcomed by a familiar face that was smiling softly at her.
The nanny replied with a light chuckled as she opened the door widely. Ashleah looked back and laughed when she saw who the person was.
"Nash, what are you doing here early in the morning?" She said while she slowly crossed her arms against her chest with a cheeky grin plastered on her lips. The Duke chuckled as he shook his head and softly ran his fingers through his pitch black hair.
"Unbelievable really. Her imperial highness, Princess of Genry. Greetings! I am summoned by his majesty to get you going for the plan." He said with the 'I look cool, right?' smile.
"Well then, thank you nanny for fixing me for today. Come on Giulia let's get going—" She stopped mid way and walked back to Giulia. "—Do you want me to carry you?"
The dragon shook her head and slowly started to walk her way out of the door. Both looked at each other and chuckled. Nash waved his hand lightly before closing the door behind.
Giulia was in front of them while they were walking and was on their way to the Emperor's office. While the dragon was silently walking, she didn't even notice the two behind her who was currently cursing at each other.
"Oh shut up Nash, you know me too well that I am still getting the hang of this princess stuff." Ashleah looked around before rolling her eyes making Nash chuckle.
"Oh my, what kind of language are you using your highness?" He whispered back obviously teasing Ashleah like the old days when they didn't travel back in time.
"I swear Nash, if only I wasn't the princess here I would probably smack you using my heels." Ashleah said making him laugh.
"You never change in some ways, don't you?" He said while completely wiping those fake tears away from his eyes.
Ashleah was about to answer Nash with her middle finger when Axis who looked like he ran off from some person. The man quickly walked to them as he wave his hand to Giulia.
"Her imperial highness, Princess of Genry. Greetings!" He said, bowing with perfect 90 degrees as he stood up and chuckled. "Greetings Duke Deoncan! How we doing?"
"My, look at how polite Axis is—" Ashleah was about to laugh when she quickly zipped her mouth inside her mind when she saw the high priest walking his way to them.
"Uhh, Axis what are we going to do?" Nash whispered, Giulia who was completely confused tilted her head lightly with a confused facial expression plastered on her face.
"Please do greet him properly and stay relaxed. The high priest doesn't bite, oh and it's your first time meeting him right?" Axis whispered back, Ashleah and Nash both nodded their head in sync.
The man stopped right in front of them. Ashleah was about to bow her head when she realized that she needs to do a curtsy. Nash bowed his head and Ashleah did a curtsy.
"Greetings High Priest." Both said in sync and smiled awkwardly for they knew nothing about the high priest. It was their first time seeing him.
"Her imperial highness, Princess of Genry. Greetings. Also, greetings to you too Duke Deoncan. I am the high priest, my name is Rowen." He said politely making Axis chuckle.
"I guess his majesty is already waiting for us inside his office?" Axis said as he took a step forward, and smiled at them for he knew that Ashleah and Nash was totally being awkward.
"I am going to see Prescott! Yehey!" Giulia said, the high priest looked down and gave her a warm smile. Giulia widened her eyes and ran her way to Ashleah and with her scared eyes she looked at the high priest.
"Giulia, he won't hurt you." The princess said as she slowly picked her up with a small smile on her face. The high priest Rowen shook his head and turned his back to them.
"It's very understandable why she is acting like that. Since the Marquess did a lot of horrible things to her, she cannot trust us humans that well. But please do tell me whenever you are ready to greet me back Giulia." The high priest Rowen said as he lightly looked back and nodded his head before walking away.
Axis bowed his head a couple of times and waved his hand before walking behind the high priest with an awkward smile plastered on his face making Nash giggle.
"My, look at our future high priest being so awkward beside the current high priest." He said as he shook his head with a little smile plastered on his face.
Ashleah then looked at Axis back who was slowly walking away from them and slowly a smile curved onto her lips with teary eyes she chuckled. "My, with this I am completely forgetting about why we are here Nash." Her voice cracked making Nash clear his throat.
"Ashleah, let's just enjoy the moment for now shall we? We can talk about it next time. Don't cry." He said and he looked around before slowly caressing her back. He didn't want anyone to spread false rumors about them, it would just cause another problems to both parties.
"What are you guys talking about?" Giulia looked up at them, both smiled as Ashleah wiped her falling tears away she shook her head and slowly caressed Giulia's head.
"Don't think about it. Well then, let's get going." They continued to walk and when Nash opened the door they were welcomed by the high priest, Axis, Kian, and finally Gab.
"His imperial majesty, Emperor of Genry. Greetings!" Nash quickly said, her father signalled him that it was okay. Nash nodded his head.
"Let's get going shall we? We're going to MAKE HIM PAY." he smiled as he fixed his clothes and stood up. Ashleah chuckled and finally nodded her head.
