"Someone call an ambulance! She's going to bleed out." A voice I've never heard through the years. One of my oldest friends.
I hear a loud commotion going on around me. "They won't be here for an hour, someone has to take her" I feel butterflies in my stomach as my eyes remain in the dark abyss of peacefulness.
"I can't take her t-tucker I got in a jam last night and have to walk to school until my car get's fixed." I can hear the sadness in his voice and it causes a pain in my heart.
"Fuck! Are you serious Jacob my dad has the car today." I feel the metallic liquid in the back of my throat and don't hesitated to spit it out as fast as it comes.
JACOB'S POV ;
" I can take her. she's small enough to fit in my truck ..but I cant take you guys with m-"
"Hell no! Who the fuck even are you I'm not letting you go anywhere with her." I don't know who he is but my anger is starting to get the best of me. I know that if we don't help her she will die but there has to be another way to save her. I cant lose her. No I won't lose her
"Jacob we don't really have much of a choice if we don't take her now she will die" he steps closer to me so no one is in ear length. " I know what she means to you and she means the same to me. And you know that you need to calm down or else your going to hurt someone AND lose her." I'm confused I don't know if I should be scared or territorial of Sophia but I can't let my pride come in the way of my m-her life. I feel my eyes changing and my instincts clawing there way out.
" you can take her but I swear to god if you hurt her or something happens to her I will kill you." Grabbing his shirt into the form of a fist and pulling his body effortlessly to me so that my jaw is parallel to his. "And of you were wondering I can smell what you are so I know you smell me and the power I h-."
I watch in horror as her lifeless body lifts upward almost on autopilot and blood spills out from the back of her throat. I feel numb everywhere afraid that if I lose her I will never have the chance to apologize for every hurtful world and pain that I caused her. I have my reasons that I know if I tell her she would understand it all. She has too. I cradle her head protecting it from the impact. " take her and hurry please." I hand her over to him as he jogs away slow enough to avoid inflicting pain on her.
" We need to find a ride and meet them at the hospital j-, are you crying dude?" I touch my face to feel wetness. "stop crying she is going to be fine she's probably already there right now so we need to hurry and get there. Um..d-do you need a hug or someth-" I crashed myself on his shoulder and I know I look like a bitch right now but at this point I don't care I just want her to be alright.

" I'm sorry but there is no patient listed by that name are you sure your spelling it correctly it could be a mistake." I fight the urge to rip out her throat how the fuck can you spell Sophia the wrong way. " If you like I can check if she has been emitted into another hospital." Ok now I'M PISSED OFF!! " If you could check that then, WHY HAVE WE BEEN SITTING HERE WAITING FOR YOU TO RECHECK AND REFRESH THE DAM LIST FOR THIRTY-MINUTES STRAIGHT. I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU DIDN'T MAKE THAT DECISION IN THE FIRST PLACE!!"
"JACOB CALM DOWN. you aren't helping her by getting angry at everyone and you won't get the information that you need by cussing everyone out. Go and wait in the waiting room until she is done searching." I nod my head realizing that everything he was saying was true. This wasn't how I could help her I would change if she made it through this and protect her from any and everything.
" BREAKING NEWS THERE HAS BEEN AN ACCIDENT ON THE CORNER OF SUN AND PEACE STREET A FIRE HAS BREACHED THE INSIDE OF THE OVERTURNED MOTOR VEHICLE AND SO FAR THERE ARE NO VICTIMS DISCOVERED SO THEY MANAGED TO LEAVE THE SEEN BEFORE THE FIRE STARTED. STAY TUNED AS WE RECEIVE MORE UPDATES."
" Jordan she isn't checked into any hospitals. Wait, isn't that the car that Sophia and that guy drove off in?"
