Lyka bit her nail in extreme nervousness.
She knew that Ryuchen knew what she had done to Chloe that night and it's also his idea to remove her from the TV series. He already knew the truth and she can no longer play him with her palm anymore.
It's all Chloe's fault.
If she didn't came back and force Ryuchen to marry her, all of those things that happened to her wouldn't have happened. If Chloe was not in the picture, she could still get everything and do anything she wanted using just Ryuchen's name.
But she came back and ruined everything for her. Ryuchen is gone, and she knows her career is about to fall apart.
Lyka and Liza were walking down the hallway towards the elevator when she noticed a familiar face inside the workstation.
There's only a wall-to-ceiling glass between the hallway and the workstation on Ryuchen's office floor, so they can see the entire workstation from there.
It was Chloe, she saw her happily talking to other employees.
"That woman looks familiar." she heard Liza say.
The nervousness in her chest earlier disappeared and was immediately replaced by anger. Just seeing Chloe makes her blood boiled even more.
What is she doing here?
Didn't she talk to all the receptionist before that they won't let other woman to enter Ryuchen's company especially in his office? Why did they let that b*tch in?
She grinds her teeth in anger.
"That's Chloe." she didn't even notice that she had stopped walking. "The one who forced Ryuchen to marry her and it's her fault why he suddenly broke up with me. That f*cking b*ch! I hate her, I hope she die!"
All of a sudden, Lyka felt the urge to approach Chloe to confront her and to find out what she's doing there but Liza stopped her. The anger she felt immediately vanished when she noticed Liza's sharp gaze at Chloe which gave her a chill.
"What do you think you're doing?"
"I... I want to..."
Lyka didn't know what to say and she didn't know why she suddenly felt scared as she thought about her sharp gaze to Chloe.
She suddenly took a deep breath to calm her nerves.
"I... I just want to know what she's doing in Ryuchen's company."
"Are you crazy?" Liza said, annoyed. "You will cause trouble for us if you confront that woman here in Ryuchen's company." Liza said seriously.
Liza doesn't know how to make Lyka happy, and one of the things she hates the most is seeing her sad.
Lyka deserves all the best things in the world, and she won't let her not get everything she want so she thought of a way to lighten her mood.
"I have a plan."
Lyka got curious about her plan but she didn't ask nor speak about it.
She saw Liza called someone on the phone but she couldn't hear what she said to the person on the other line, but after she cut the call, she asked for a photo of Chloe which she immediately sent to her.
"Why do you need that b*tch photo?" she asked curiously.
"It's a secret." Liza said. "Now smile and let me teach her a little lesson." then wink and smile on her before she pulled her towards the elevator.

Chloe looked at the clock on her phone after she finished Ryuchen's schedule for the whole week.
It was past twelve o'clock in the afternoon and wondered why her husband was not in her office yet.
Last week, Ryuchen told her that his Aunt Liza went to the company along with Lyka to ask for help in getting Lyka back in a TV series where she should be the female lead, but he flatly refused and told her that he will not do anything again for Lyka. He also promised her that they would have lunch together from then on, so she was expecting him to be in her office at that time.
Chloe unlocked her phone and went to her contacts to call her husband.
As time went by, her feeling for Ryuchen returned or it would be more accurate to say that she just showed her love to him again. She knew within herself that her feelings for her husband hadn't gone away, she had just hidden it so that she could protect herself from the pain.
But seeing her husband has really changed, she begins to open her heart willingly for him once again.
"Hello." she heard Ryuchen say on the other line.
"Are you busy?" Chloe asked worriedly when he answered the call. "Did I disturb you?"
"My wife?!" she smiled at the reaction she heard from her husband. "I'm not busy, why did you call? Did you miss me?"
"You're not busy? Really?" she chuckled. "But you didn't realize it's already lunch break."
"Ahhh! It's twelve o'clock already?" he answers.
She could even imagined the look of her husband's face.
Chloe knew that her husband is trying his best to finish his work early, so both of them can go home together.
"I'll come to your office now, where do you want to eat?"
"No." she answered while taking her wallet from her bag. "I'll bring food for us, what do you want to eat?"
"You decide."
"Really?"
"Yup."
"Okay." she said while going out of the office. "I'll buy something good, just wait for me in your office."
Chloe decided to buy food at the restaurant across from their company building, she had heard from the employees that the food there was delicious so she wanted to try it.

Ryuchen returned his attention back to all the documents on his table after he finished talking to his wife on the phone. He still has a lot of contracts that he needs to read and sign, he wants to finish everything early so that his wife and him can go home at the same time.
But, it almost an hour since his wife called to buy their food but until now she's still not in his office.
Ryuchen had a bad feeling all of a sudden, sweat immediately broke out on his forehead from nervousness and his whole body shivers so he immediately picked up his phone to call his wife.
But no one answered on the other line.
Why did she take a long time to buy their food? And if she's just waiting for her order, why is she not answering his call?
"My wife, please answer my calls."
Ryuchen called her phone again.
"Hello--."
Ryuchen's blood immediately boiled when he heard a voice of a man on the other line.
"Who are you?!" Ryuchen asked angrily. "Why do you have my wife's---."
"Sir, I took your wife to the hospital!" he got up from his seat, all the blood drained from his body when he heard the panic man said. "Your wife had an accident."
Ryuchen's knees softened when his wife's grave immediately crossed his mind.
Did he do nothing to change what had happened in his previous life? Is he still not able to protect and save his wife? Will she disappear again?
It's all my fault.
If he had just let his assistant to buy them something to eat or if he had accompanied her earlier, an accident would not have happened to her.
I'm so f*cking useless!
He cannot even take care of his wife in that lifetime.
Why did he leave Chloe alone?
If he was with her, if he was by her side during that time, he could have protected her. But he was not there.
Why every time he left his wife's side, something bad has happened to her.
"I took your wife to the first district hospital, Sir." he heard the man said on the other line again.
Ryuchen immediately left his office.
He met his assistant in the hallway but he didn't give a sh*t when he asked him where he was going, he just went straight to the basement to get into his car.
In less than twenty minutes, he arrived at the hospital.
Ryuchen immediately went to the emergency room where his wife was.
