The ceiling is starting to collapse and the magma in return is rising slowly where it could swallow us whole.
I look to Rayleigh " any ideas old man on how to escape our current predicament ". He looks to the tunnel for a few seconds then back to me " there two options, one we trying escape through the tunnel and once we reach the lava we climb the ledges back up to the top of the volcano then rush down".
I contemplate his first option which is not very optimistic because we could be swallowed by the magma when we try to cross it and even if we reach the lava it could be too late as it might have risen to the point where we can't get to the ledges.
I shake my head "there are many things that could go wrong with that. What's your second option".
Rayleigh then points to the ceiling " when I used my observation haki I found out we're not under the volcano anymore so we could try to dig our way up".
I look to the ceiling and used my observation haki and he was right judging from the auras I see from the animals above I would say we're 100 feet from the base of the volcano. I look back to Rayleigh " now in what world is it possible for us to dig our way up in time ".
Rayleigh just laughs at my scepticism " well you could try your new powers out there must be an ability that you could use". He is right there must be an ability that I could use. The only problem is we don't have the time to test all my newfound powers.
I look to the tunnel then the ceiling " all right old man we'll go with your second option as the first one might be time-consuming and we do not have any time to waste". Rayleigh agrees with my assessment " focus on your spirit and feel the new power which you have just gained. Try to concentrate on a single thing which is power, think of your raw untapped power and once you feel like you found it focus and let it all unleash without fear".
I try to find my power within me as Rayleigh said but there's nothing working all I see is darkness. I look up to the ceiling and see it's starting to get too close for comfort " damm it I'm not going to be crushed to death by falling rocks". With Rayleigh's method not working I decided to let everything unleash all my unchecked anger, grief and hatred.
I unleash my conquers haki, devils aura and anything else that I usually keep in check. When I start to feel pain from the strain of using everything at once but as I start to crumble from it I feel my body to suddenly change by my bones strengthening, my skin hardening like steel and my senses heightening to the point where I feel like I can smell the animals above us.
I start to sense the newfound power I've gained so I push more to fully unleash my power which works as my bones feel like they're breaking then reforming, my skin turns dark red with scales forming, my fingernails are being replaced with claws, black feather wings start to form out of my back and two small black curved horns sprouting out of my forehead.
Once my transformation finishes I feel my body brimming with raw power. I turn to Rayleigh whose face is filled with joy " now you look like a devil and a really intimidating one at that ahahaha". I realise then I've grown from 4 foot 9 inches to 8 foot " damm I've grown tall but now is not the time to mess around, Rayleigh gets close to me because we're going to need to escape quickly in a moment".
Rayleigh just nods then quickly moves next to me. I gather all my power into my hand then aim it above my head and fire it all at once.
What happened next shocked me and Rayleigh which was a massive crimson red blast of energy that completely decimates the ceiling leaving a perfect tunnel leading up to the surface. I grab Rayleigh because I can see the magma is starting to get close to our feet " hold on tight old man this next part might make you sick hahaha".
I bend my knees and lift my wings then slam my wings down to the ground creating so much force that I fly into the sky with Rayleigh's arm around my neck. We have no problem getting out of the tunnel but soon as we start to feel relieved I realise I don't know how to land " Rayleigh one problem, I don't know how to land".
As we plummet to the ground I try to flap my wings to stabilize but I'm only able to slow down our descent until we crash into a forest of trees leaving a trail of destroyed trees.
After dusting our selves off we look to the sky to see what likes a hole in the sky which I realise is a result of my energy blast from earlier " now that was fun". when I finished dusting my self off I turn to Rayleigh to see if he's injured " you ok old man did you break any of your brittle bones during the crash hahahaha"
Rayleigh just laughs then punches my arm " would you look at that your attack from earlier I can still hear it and look at the sky it looks like your attack left a hole gua hahaha".
I just grin at his comment then notice my body returning to normal. Once it finished returning to normal my body feels like it was destroyed then healed over and over again.
I start to succumb to exhaustion but not before Rayleigh catches me " don't worry kid you done your part rest and leave the rest to your old man" shortly after I finally drift off to sleep.
Once again I find my self standing in the darkness staring at a familiar figure " well good to see you again Lucifer I'm guessing you're here to talk to me about my new power". Lucifer just chuckles at me " hahaha good to see you as well Samael and yes I'm here because you were able to retrieve that devil fruit so I'm going to help you discover your new powers as a reward for finding it".
I thank him for his offer then walk towards him to sit on the ground " Yeah I was able to already discover some of it like my hybrid transformation and a energy blast attack".
I wait a few moments for him to respond " well bravo for being able to transform so quickly after eating the devil fruit but I have a sneaking suspicion that my blood in you helped access your powers. As for that energy blast attack that was your power of annihilation which gives you the ability to destroy most things in existence but be careful if you're not careful when using it can kill you".
He then walks over to me sitting on the ground now I'm going to teach you about all your new powers but beware they're going to be different to my powers"...
flashback to Samael's attack
on Amazon Lily Boa Hancock is in her room looking over documents when she hears a explosion so she goes outside to find the source but all she can see is a giant crimson red energy blast in the sky coming from Rusukaina " looks like that Samael has found what he was looking for. I can't wait to see what he does with that power in the future".
Then somewhere in the Holy Land, a figure is standing on a balcony " impossible there's doubt about it that's Lucifers power I just sensed. It looks like I'll have to prepare for war in the future".
