It's been 10 years since Rayleigh and Shakky adopted me now I'm 10 years old. My usual routine is wake up, have breakfast with my parents then spend the day helping Shakky with the bar and when I've got free time I go to the woods to work out because in all of the time I've been alive what I realised is that the strong makes the rules while the weak are stepped on so my goal is to get so strong that nobody can dictate the way I live my life.
Usualy when I work out I do 50 push up, sit ups and 5 mile runs as I only started training a year ago. Today Rayleigh said " Today I'm going to show you somthing called haki which can save your life and help defeat strong opponents , so kid I'm going to show you them". Soon as I finished helping Shakky I ran straight to the forest to find Rayleigh waiting for me while drinking out of his favourite flask.
"Finally kid what took you so long gua hahahah but never mind lets start." , he stops drinking and states " haki is the spiritual force or will power we all have but what im going to show is how to use it in a fight"
He then moves and stand in front of a giant rock which is 15 feet tall " the first haki I'm going to show you is called armament haki or colour of arms which is when you use your spiritual energy to create invisible armour around your body and can boost your defense and attack" he then proceeds to punch the rock and absolutely destroying it leaveing it in pieces.
I looked at Rayleigh in disbelief with my mouth open and my jaw on the ground from the destruction from one punch using the "armament haki" while he laughs at my reaction
"Gua hahahaha boy lift your jaw from the floor and try to do what I just done, clear your mind from any distractions try to feel your spirit and then once you feel it try to focus it in your hand "
I can't believe this senile old man he makes sound so easy but here go I clear my mind until there's nothing left and once I did I focused all my spirit in my palm and nothing happened again and again so I turned to Rayleigh with frustration evident on my face " I've done what to asked but when I force it to my hands nothing happens"
" Boy don't get worked up it's your first time so you went get it staight away so dont worry and try guiding your spirit to your hand instead of forcing it. remeber your spirit is like water in a lake when guided to certain direction it's smooth but when forced it becomes rough and turbulent."
" ok old man I'll try it that way" so like he said I guided my spirit into my hands and finally I can feel my hands being stronger like they're indestructible I turned to face Rayleigh who had a massive grin on his face.
" well what you standing there for like a tree go and try to hit that rock" he said pointing to a rock 10 feet tall with a goofy smile.
so I move towards the 10 feet tall rock draw my arm right arm back and focused my spirit into my hand. Once I felt my hand covered armament haki I punched the rock with all of my strength then to my suprise the rock cracked the crumbled. I turned to Rayleigh with a proud smile which he reciprocated then he said
"Gua hahaha well done Samael you've done great for your first attempt but dont get too cocky that was only your hand when you've mastered it to an extent you should be able to cover entire body parts like arms, legs or chest for long periods of time without tiring."
Rayleigh then proceeded to walk infront of me and put a blindfold on me " the next haki I'm teaching is the color of observation haki which can give you a sixth sense which gives you the ability to sense a person's presence, strength and emotion, It can also give the ability to see into the future for couple of seconds ."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing from Rayleigh its sounds too good to be true " looks like you don't belive so why not trying to hit me with this club"
I grab the club from Rayleigh and walk around him in a circle quietly so he can't hear where I'm coming from so once im ready I go in to attack but as I close in he dodges so I try again and again but the same result.
"good thinking of trying to throw me off by making no sound but your emotions gave you away because I could sense exictement" Rayleigh said looking pleased with himself as I'm sat on the floor looking tired"
"now it's your turn samael, sit on the floor and clear you mind from all things and just try to use your spirit to sense you surroundings the blades of grass to the wind blowing in the air."
So just like he said I sit on the ground and calm myself and clear my mind to sense my surroundings but all I see is darkness.
I could hear Rayleigh walking around me "Samael im going to hit you so try to use your spirit to dodge me" he then swung his club at me but I couldn't sense it at all until Rayleigh hit square on top of my head which left a massive bump
"What the hell Rayleigh that really f**king hurt you prick" I said looking at him who's was barley containing his laughter "Gua hahahaha don't blame me you could of sense it and dodge if you were properly listening so lets try again and see if I cant add another bump to your head"
So for the next hour he kept hitting me and me getting bumps after bumps until Rayleigh said "let's try this then seeming as you keep getting hit"
Next thing I knew I sensed like death was looking at me and was going to kill me so I dodge to the right and when I lifted my blindfold all I saw was a deep crater in the ground "are you crazy old" Rayleigh just looked at me "Gua hahaha but look you dodge it by the looks of it you color of obeservation is tied with emotions so lets focus on that"
I couldnt belive this senile old man but ge was right at least so for the next 30 minutes he kept trying to hit me and I was able to dodge every 4/10 but I was alright with it as its my first time
Rayleigh decided we had enough fun for today so we left the forest and returned home. While on the way home I asked him about the conquers haki but he said that not everyone has it but he would try to teach me later on when I've mastered the other 2 haki.
when we got home I told Shakky all that happened today ar first she gave Rayleigh a death glare when I told her how he taught me color of observation but laughed when she found out my progression.
I had dinner with her and Rayleigh and talk to them about how today went; Shakky was happy for me because I had fun then I had a shower and to bed.
meanwhile downstairs in the bar.....
"Rayleigh why train him to use haki isn't he too young to learn them" Shakky couldn't understand why Rayleigh decided this morning to train him but knew he had to have a reason why
she looked at him waiting for an answer until "when he goes to train in the woods I decided I'd go watch him yesterday because I was curious what he does but when I see him training hard I was proud of him until I used color of observation and what saw was his spirit burning crimson red and for a second when I looked at him again he looked like a demon"
Shakky was a bit shocked but still didnt explain his reason until "the only time I've somthing like that was my old captain roger but even then in that instance even his spirit looked like a baby compared to Samael"
Shakky was shocked because Samael was just a boy yet what Rayleigh is saying that he will most likely change the world in one way or another so that explained why he wanted to start training him young because he will need it for whatever he decides to do
So they both went to bed and slept but before they did they both thought the same thing " our boy has made us proud today and can't wait to see what he accomplishes in the future"
