The technique worked best in a completely open area with an uninterrupted path between the sender and recipient. Even then, the practitioner needed to calculate how the sound would disperse.
Curved corridors were possible as the practitioner could bounce the frequency off walls. But that required even more calculations. The angle of the wall needed to be considered. The material needed to be considered.
Stone reflected sound differently from wood and Metal created additional problems. Lin Mu reached the section concerning enclosed rooms.
He paused. "If you're in a closed room, you basically can't transmit outside."
"Correct."
"Then, shouting would work better."
"Correct."
Lin Mu stared at the stone plate. "A sound transmission technique that's sometimes worse than shouting."
"It was impressive for its era."
Lin Mu could not argue with that.
