A dangerously wicked, triumphant smile slowly curved Jillyanna's lips as she stared down at the glowing screen. She didn't bother exiting the user's main profile page, instead deftly tapping the corner of the display to launch a fresh, secondary browser tab. That way, her evidence would remain perfectly preserved in the background, ready to be weaponized at a moment's notice.
Sensing a sudden lull in the room, she lowered the device slightly and looked over toward the far corner of the suite. "Hawk, how is Uncle Thomas doing? Is his recovery going smoothly?"
Hawk paused his fast thumb-typing on his encrypted device and looked up, his strong features calm and entirely relaxed. "He is doing very well. Savannah is currently overseeing his health and daily routine over at the main estate. However... he was not informed that you were admitted to the trauma wing last night."
