Staring at the waiter in front of her, she knew she couldn't leave without settling the bill.
"How much is it?"

Feng Jinglei paused; the steaks she'd had before were at most a little over a hundred. Were these two so expensive?
Her gaze swept over, noticing the red wine next to the steak. No doubt the price was in the wine.
Two thousand eight hundred, even if she went back now to get the money, she still didn't have enough!
"Well, I work nearby at M Group, could I... maybe put it on credit?" Saying something like this was incredibly embarrassing for Feng Jinglei.
Not to mention she used to live in comfort, even in her current predicament, she wouldn't normally have to put a meal on credit, at worst she'd just skip the meal if she had no money!
