"That's right, Captain Bowen, Captain Wolf is waiting for you at his manor."
The trusted aide said respectfully.
Wolf is the surname of the Seventh Legion's Commander, and also Bowen's direct superior.
He is the highest commander of the Seventh Guard Corps, but usually seldom finds Bowen unless there's something significant, mostly acting as a hands-off manager.
Bowen nodded slightly.
He exchanged a subtle glance with his trusted aides, pondered for a moment and said:
"I understand, wait for me outside for a moment, I will tidy up and head over."
Upon receiving the promise, the commander's trusted aide saluted and withdrew.
As soon as the other person left, the atmosphere in the office immediately became serious.
"Commander, have you sensed something? Wasn't the Imperial Council's big meeting just held? How could there suddenly be something urgent?"
A Personal Guard Knight said worriedly.
"Yes, and it's this late, the sky has already darkened..."
