The crimson eyes did not blink.
They curved with that devilish delight as the colossal shadow above the nest finally lowered itself into full view, and the sight of it pressed down on every existence present like a hand closing slowly around a throat!
It was a Serpent.
A massive, monstrous Serpent whose body coiled around the entire rim of the nest and kept going, scales of deep obsidian-green layered like shields of a drowned armory as over this armored skin, rivers of Infinity and THE Primordial Source circled and slithered like obedient snakes of their own. They did not rage. They did not resist. The two grandest essences of existence moved over this being's body the way tamed things moved, and that obedience said more than any roar could!
