Building a bridge requires three elements: communication between both banks, two sets of startup terminals, and a sufficiently calm Void State. The third element is the hardest to achieve, yet the most important. It's like building a bridge across a big river; the foundation for placing the bridge piers must be stable enough.
The Abyss Xyrin has spent many years achieving this objective: using ritual-like methods to destroy ordered worlds, thereby altering the Genesis frequency and Abyss fluctuation value within a certain range, causing some disturbance in the "zeroing parameters" of the Void, creating an environment suitable for bridge building. This is also why the Empire has observed the Void entering a calm period in recent months.
