Under the starlit sky of the Central Plains, there hung a crescent new moon.
Zitang Su loved such moonlit nights the most, because the moon bore a striking resemblance to those eyes from his memory.
For hundreds of years before finding Ye Lingyue, he cherished gazing at the painting under such moonlit nights.
In the painting, the little girl's eyes were akin to the new moon, her adorable face showing a blissful expression.
His fingers gently caressed the girl's face, something he had longed to do but never dared for centuries.
His Yue'er had grown up.
After separating from Ye Lingyue post Si Garden, he had imagined countless times the scene of reuniting with Yue'er.
But he had overlooked that she would grow up.
Now grown, she was even more beautiful and charming, more lovable.
Moreover, she had become wiser.
Zitang Su spent hundreds of years searching for Ye Lingyue.
