Daniel walks through the gate only to find himself in a corner of a street, the difference between this street and the regular streets its the goddamn spaceship above it, yes a goddamn spaceship, its "the technology taking" over type of apocalypse scenario, but the reason why he is slightly surprised by this specific world its because he recognizes this world, he recognizes this specific spaceship.
"what is the odds to have The Terminator as my first world to recognize after a long time of jumping around countless worlds, and to have the goddamn Salvation as the first thing to see" Daniel said amusingly.
Daniel backed up a few metres vanishing between the wreckage buildings, covered with night's darkness and the electromagnetic field around his body he created with the help of the system because of his "low" control over the lighting attribute, he was like a ghost to the machines a real phantom to their "eyes".
He stayed all night in the same position not making a single move, something he is used to do now due his long time in the jungle, after the morning came and the machines were gone he asked the system.

Yes he didn't turn crazy at all he just got some improvisational plans for situations and scenarios like this, Surprised? hell no he can't be surprised at all, a little caught off guard but never surprised, as for the surprise is for the unprepared just like the ignorant is for the stupid and the despair is for the weak, that what his life taught him, only by having back up plans behind back up plans you will truly win, as for love, relationships those things are beautiful at first sight till time prove again that that reality is cruel and the ones you were once trust stab you in the back the moment they find the chance, so he knows that can never love or can receive love as he can never trust any man other then himself. if it was before the half millennia he lived with nothing but his mind in some unbelievably clear dreams if it was the previous him, he will still have some naive thoughts about finding affection but not anymore....when your mind can create an gigantic amount of possible scenarios to escape madness you will conclude that love and trust cannot be given like it cannot be received unless you enslaved the wills of the ones you give/receive from, every being is searching his own good eventually, so why you escape reality when you can accept it? The greed and the urge of wanting more will never disappear as long the human being exist, yes he despise humanity but he is grateful for it as if it didn't exist so he will not, if it didn't exist so he will never know how cruel and despicable beings can be, as for that, he is grateful ,as for everything else he truly, despise them. He despise the fact that they aren't honest with themselves.
Having those thoughts in his head roaming wile heading West where "the robot factory" is placed ,his current location he is somewhere in Utah just one state far from California, one state far from San Francisco where the HQ of Skynet is located.
With his current speed, he will be there in 7 days with having breaks during the nights and avoiding the machines during the journey at least that was his respectable guess.
But the actual period destiny forged was more then that, it was exactly 8 days. 8 days of endless playing hide and seek with the machines, as he wants to give the Ai a "surprise".
