At eight or nine o'clock, Jasmine Yale moved slightly, murmuring "Little Clementine," and grasped Will Caddel's arm with both hands.
Will Caddel woke up and opened his eyes.
In that instant, Jasmine also awoke, drowsily lifting her head, meeting Will's eyes.
She was initially bewildered from just waking up, then released her hands, her face half-red: "Sorry, CEO Caddel, I fell asleep..."
"It's okay, you can sleep a bit more."
"Did I waste your time? How did I fall asleep?" Jasmine felt somewhat guilty.
"Do you want me to walk you upstairs? Cars can't get into your community."
Jasmine shook her head: "I can go back on my own."
"Is there any discomfort? You drank quite a bit last night, do you have a headache?"
"It's okay, I can handle it."
"That's good, go back, and get some more sleep, staying up all night is harmful."
"Thank you, CEO Caddel, I had a great time last night, thank you for bringing me back."
Will Caddel slightly curled his lips but said no more.
