"I… As you know, I don't have many connections."
"My time in Cakago seems to be shorter than yours," Sylvan Cheney said indifferently.
"That's different. I used to be in school, with no exposure to society. Besides, I used to live a life of indulgence, doing nothing productive, not striving to improve."
"What about in the future? Are you planning to continue living indulgently, or will you strive to improve? Hmm?"
"Of course I'll follow you, help you manage the trivial matters, be at your beck and call, and be a supportive partner."
