The next day.
Early in the morning, before dawn, Ling Chen got up from bed, finished washing up quickly, and went to the hall of the branch. By then, everyone was already gathered. Today was the opening ceremony of the Martial Arts Tournament, and no one could slack off. After breakfast, it was precisely six in the morning, and two buses were waiting at the entrance.
Boarding the bus, the group headed straight to the venue of the Martial Arts Tournament. After a forty-minute drive, the two buses finally arrived at the destination. Alighting from the bus, Ling Chen looked up at the slightly bright sky and took a deep breath of fresh air.
Though it was still early, there were already quite a few people at the venue. In addition to the several hundred security personnel from the three major factions, two thousand soldiers supported by the military had all arrived, all in orderly rows maintaining the venue's order.
