Wei Shi had originally planned to stay here for a while, but unexpectedly someone outside quickly came in and told him he could leave.
Wei Shi didn't move. "I didn't ask anyone to pick me up."
Did the Wei Family get the news?
"Officer Yao is doing the paperwork for you," the other urged. "Hurry up, the two officers are still waiting."
A figure flashed through Wei Shi's mind. Combined with what the other said about "two officers," he figured it was probably someone she had called over.
Because of the medicine's aftereffects, Wei Shi felt weak all over. He braced himself on the side as he stood up.
"Hey, are you okay?"
Didn't they check him when he came in and confirm he wasn't injured? Why did he look kind of serious now?
"I'm fine."
Wei Shi refused the other's support and slowly walked out.
