With the last soup done, Han Luoqi turned around with the pot in his hands and saw Zhuang Xuejun leaning against the door. He froze for a second.
After her nap, she'd changed into a beige loungewear set and was wearing pink fuzzy slippers. Very homey, very cozy.
His heart warmed along with it.
It really did kind of feel like home.
"How long have you been downstairs? You walk without making a sound, huh."
Zhuang Xuejun straightened up. "You're just too focused."
Han Luoqi lifted the soup in his hand a little. "I was planning to finish cooking and then go call you. Didn't expect you to come down yourself. Go wash your hands, let's eat."
He paused, then added, "No need to rush, take your time, don't fall."
Zhuang Xuejun couldn't help laughing. Was he being a bit too cautious?
It was just a pregnancy. She'd gotten through the most dangerous first three months alone, and nothing happened.
