The first layer, the second layer, are merely first-grade medicinal ingredients, extremely simple for the dozens of people entering the Altar of the Divine Dao.
But even though it's so simple, they still receive some enlightenment and increase in cultivation base as a reward.
The cultivation base is negligible, as the reward is limited, but the enlightenment is much more precious.
For every cultivator, enlightenment is equivalent to innate aptitude, and even after reaching the Fusion Realm, the role of enlightenment becomes much greater than aptitude!
Even if it increases by a thread, it might come in handy during some future enlightenment.
As it stands, the third layer, fourth layer, and even up to the tenth layer should all involve such medicinal ingredients.
However, the number might differ, and the grade will vary. With higher layers, the difficulty increases significantly.
