With some soldiers and agents breaking formation in fear of death and had evacuated in the underground shelter under the Head General permission, the defensive line had naturally begun to show holes within the formation which was compensated by machines.
However against such enemies, the machines never stood a chance at all. In this very moment the Chaos Breaker Organization was at its weakest. But despite that the people who chose to stay behind fought their hardest to defend their home, even if they die in the end.
One of the loyal people who stood their ground was Luitenant Owen. At this very moment two chaos beast charged at him, only to get decimated by Luitenant Owen's quick attacks. But just as he took out two chaos beast an insect type chaos beast looking similar to Bomb beetle suddenly dropped from the skies and begun bombarding the line of agents in front of them.
Of course even Luitenant Owen got caught by the series of explosions in front of him. However leaving such a dangerous chaos beast roam free would accelerate the destruction of the organization, with that he then blitz through the explosion, as he Injected mana into the tip of his sword and got close towards the bomb beetle chaos beast.
The moment he got close, he then thrusted his sword toward its head with caused a massive beam which blew up the bomb beetle chaos beast head and take down any flying chaos beings in the air that got hit by his attack.
But just as he took down the enemy, a chimera suddenly pounced at him, forcing him to dodge to the side. But the moment he made such dodge a chaos knight holding a bow suddenly shot an arrow and squarely hit Luitenant Owen's shoulder.
The moment Luitenant Owen got hit, some of the agents and soldiers who saw him fall down, tried to rush to his side, only to get killed when a huge chaos beast that looked like a wolf, bite them down with its teeth.
Seeing them die, Luitenant Owen couldn't help but silently scream in anguish as the people who stayed loyal to him were dying one after another.
This was war, and in war there is no mercy. As this was in his thought, the chimera who pounced towards him earlier then turned back towards him, while baring its teeth at him.
Seeing this, Luitenant Owen then broke the arrow lodged on his shoulder as he didn't dare pull it out to prevent the tearing of his muscles. However this alone made his other arm useless, leaving him with only one arm to defend himself.
In that very moment, the Chimera was sliced in half, as Kanzaki suddenly appeared out of nowhere and easily killed off an enemy of such caliber.
After that he then went in front of Luitenant Owen as he parried an arrow aiming towards him, before he used his black flames to send a sword wave towards the chaos knight from afar.
With that a huge explosion rung out, followed by the chaos knight rushing from the flames itself. However the moment he did this, Kanzaki had already caught up to him, before he smashed its head straight to the ground and stab the he's of his helmet with his sword and released black flames inside his armor. Just like that the chaos knight was burned by the black flames from inside its armor.
After killing the chaos knight, Kanzaki simply saluted at Luitenant Owen before heading back towards the battle.
As for Luitenant Owen he was simply grateful that Kanzaki had saved him. Even if this was the first time Kanzaki had met Luitenant Owen, the Luitenant himself already knew about Kanzaki and had seen how he fought the sentinels all by himself and taking out a huge part of the enemies number with him.
Using his chaos ability to materialize an object to tend to his wounds, he then quickly patches himself up before charging back towards the enemy.
In that very same moment, Uno had sensed Kanzaki's mana from the air and immediately informed every Sentinel in the area. The moment he reminded them that the person who stalled them in the highway was back in action this fast, every single one of them were surprised at such quick recovery.
What's more they all soon realized that if he returns to fight them all off, then it would only be a matter of time till the organization could kill off all their remaining units while that particular agent hold them down. With such a variable, none of them could afford tk be stalled.
To be exact in order to claim their victory, all they need was to destroy the power source of the organization that was buried deep within every headquarters base. The reason for this was because such power have the capability fight back against them and attacked their world.
At this point they still don't know how this source of energy spawns to every world they had targeted. But in order to prevent any enemies from attacking their world while they harvest foreign world, they will need to destroy the root of such power and showcase to everyone that they have no chance to overwrite their fate as livestock.
For their world to survive, the others have to die.
With that Uno sent an order for Argie, Nueve, Ocho, Siete, and Sies to charge inside the headquarters and destroy the power source of the headquarters. Once this power source is destroyed, this world fate will be sealed.
Understanding the gravity of the situation, everyone then begun to move. But just as they were about to do just that, multiple screams from the chaos titans could be heard outside the base walls, as they all got killed one after another.
Following that numerous explosions erupted followed by the war cry of the agents and soldiers who aimed for a pincer attack from the rear.
In this very moment a long stick launched someone from the air, and a torrent of flames erupted on another area. Both of them were heading straight towards the base.
Soon after Jinwoo and Ryuuji had appeared in the middle of the war, which was soon followed by a golden dome enveloping the whole area and moderately heals all the injured agents and soldiers in the battlefield over time.
In this moment alongside Jinwoo and Ryuuji, both Arthur and Joan joined the battle.
What's more all the surviving agents like Farid, Yuti, and Alice begun pressing forwards from the outside as more and more agents emerged.
The final defense battle was underway.
