"Are we really leaving this afternoon? I'm afraid I'm not ready for the trip. Haven't pack anything yet," Simione turned to Hawk. She hated the fact that she had to initiate the conversation but she had really no choice at the moment.
"No worry, dear. I had instructed your servants to pack the necessary things for the trip in your behalf," Lady Beatrice informed her. "Your husband had been so keen on reminding me to make sure everything was ready for this trip. You see he had been looking forward to this,"
Simione didn't know how to feel with what the lady said and so she just gave her a polite smile in response.
"Simione, I hope you didn't find these things offensive," Lady Beatrice continued. "I gathered from your grandfather that you are very independent child. You must be used to doing things in your own. However, know that you are already a Monsanto, so these little things—packing up and some personal chores, you don't really have to do it on your own anymore,"
